I ask in celebration of Pagan Pride tomorrow in Dallas. Obviously my list is too long.

Well see now this is a hard one... I mean... jeez... All the pagans I have met here are great... and if we want to go to historical things the list would be even longer... I can't choose its too much thinking... I tell you what I will just take a drink for every Pagan I like... that should be a good way to spend my Friday night. lol =)

I do not discriminate. I take the 5th.

ALL the Pagans here are cool. I have never seen any one of them verbally attack anyone for not believing as they do. They accept and respect others.

Happy Pagan Pride day! Have a great celebration!

My favorite LIVING Pagan is my spouse.....

As for my personal Pagan heros....

Leonidas of Sparta
Socrates
Homer
Plato
Phideas
Emperor Julian of Constantinople (who tried to restore the rights of the Pagan citizens of the Byzantine Empire)

There are a LOT more, but these are some that spring to mind.......

All the pagan friends I have made here, who have taught me so much about paganism, and about Witchcraft. You are my friends, known now and to be known perhaps tomorrow from another question, we have a variety of beliefs, we are united by our freedoms and our love for Mother Earth.

If Mother Earth counts as pagan, She is it for me!

Blessings,

MY favorite pagans are historical figures. One of whom was Radbod, a king of the Frisians who spend the latter portion of his reign working to protect his people and their way of life. Two others are Eyvaner Kinriffe and Raud the strong, two men who endoured torture are eventual death at the hands of Olaf Trygvasson rather than be forcibly converted from their native religion.

Hard to say. I like different ones for different reasons.

There's to many private individuals to count & of the Public ones - well it depends.

Bonewitz has a more Accademic POV, but most of my Farrars' books have been the ones most often pinched. Then again some authors are not consistant, one book might be brilliant but the next crap.
