It is your imagination. Temperatures have risen LESS THAN ONE DEGREE so far. There is no way you could feel that difference. You are forgetting cold days and exaggerating memories of warm days. And you are looking at your own part of the globe and ignoring the rest of the world, ignoring things like how we had the coolest summer in many years where I live, in Austin Texas. You are doing all this because you are so worried about the reports of global warming. But if you look at the actual measurements you would know that the changes so far are way too small to notice without careful measurements and than even the scientists who are saying it will be bad are giving actual numbers like 5 degrees warmer in 100 years.

Yes, it is very scary isnt it.
The worlds weather seems in a mess of late, I live in Eastbourne, thats at the bottom of the UK. Eastbourne has the hottest summers in the UK but our summer just gone has been the worst on record - loads of rain, it even raining now.
I honestly think the human race is on its last legs, dont ask me why, I just have a gut feeling something really bad is going to happen soon, Nuclear War is my main fear, there is so much tension out there we dont know about.
Tension between the UK an Russia it at its worst since the cold war. A contact I have in the RAF told me that a few months ago a squadron of tornado fighters was scrambled to intercept a Russian bomber that was near our air space - its so scary.

Yes Global Warming is very scary. They are words used by spin doctors, governments and media, cos it sounds scarier than 'Climate Change'
Climate Change is something that occurs right through the history of the earth. Temperatures go up and go down. In Europe we are still suffering from the end of the last ice age. 10 years ago, the doom merchants warned us that we were heading for a new ice age. 10 years from now....? Who knows!

With you on this one. Just noting the changes in my garden this year makes me very aware of how much weather has changed in the past ten years or so. There's definately something happening that's doing this, what that is, I don't know for sure. I guess if you seriously think about it, it could creep you out. Here in Scotland we're experiencing much more warm weather than ever, but on some levels, I've quite enjoyed this change.

Hey. I happen to live in Colorado (Colorado Springs in case you're wondering) and you have nothing to worry about. While it is true it is rather hot these days it's a common thing, summer's just ended and you can't expect a sudden change. Also, the nights have been very chilly (low 40s) and last winter we had more snow then we had had in 17 years. So, no worries.

No... I don't think it's any more scary than my pet turtle.
What REALLY scares me is how many of you people are so fooled by this politically driven, pr oven inaccurate, fabricated science.
C'mon sweetie... even Al Gore limits the increase in our "Global Climate" to "Half a Degree."
You may notice if you track the temperature, that it raises dramatically in April... and the trend usually continues till early October.
This phenomena has only recently been discovered in 1982. With the increased usage of the Thermal inducting
Ferguson Rod in computer controlled ignition and systolic carbonation systems.
I hope have helped with your concerns.
Warm regards,
Douglas

Global warming is interesting: it leaves two options.
1. Human existence will be made more and more difficult, and life will get stunningly nasty, or
2. A true miracle will happen, and humanity will actually pull together and do the right things.
Either way, I guess I'll stay around and see how it turns out. The end of life as we know it, or a miracle. Interesting.

Nope it ain't scary. It is a natural phenomena, we are coming out of the last ice age. It is the politicians you want to be scared of, the media also.
OK we are speeding up the process with our (over)use of petrol. Have you noticed how "Carbon footprint" is all the rage? Global warming is also another excuse for putting up taxes. Certainly here in the UK.

If you have a car, turn it into electric, or, better, solar. You can also put solar batteries near the window to cut your electricity bill. In any way, do not produce CO2. People in Florida die from global warming---temperatures reach 40'C and more.

The only thing scarier than global warming is George W Bush, who doesn't care one bit about global warming.
