Actually and honestly I look upon going to confession as an oil change for my soul. I have described it that way to several people.

The Lord takes care of keeping your soul accounted for. Just know that the Lord loves you and will administer the "gift of Everlasting Life" for a "job" well done. All you need to do, is follow the Ten Commandments and do His will. You will not need to worry about a car, because that will be just "another material." What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with BENEFITS, even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19. Peace, Love and God Bless.

My soul needs an oil change? OK, I guess I could check its antifreeze levels at the same time. It is almost winter.

I ate some really spicy thai food the other day and I felt like I gave my whole GI tract a overhaul, if you know what I mean. I was sleepin' with the window open that night. Gave me an excellent opportunity to give the girlfriend the Dutch Oven treatment though, nothing wrong with that.

I let the mechanic take care of my car.
I let Jesus take care of my spirit.
The mechanic overcharges me every time.
