sense in the answers given by Christians here, but the answers by Muslims are more reasoned and peaceful. Makes me think that I need to look more closely at Islam, although I am sure in the end that I will reject both religions as nonsense.

Islam is a creation of man, specifically one man - Mohammed. He took the best elements of Christianity and Judaism, and fashioned his own religion from them to give to the pagan polytheistic tribes of Arabia.

Judaism and Christianity are revealed faiths - revealed to man by God.

Read the book "The Great Divide" by Alvin J. Schmidt. It takes a good, factual, non-politically correct look at both Islam and Christianity and compares the two. It also gives the true history of Islam and it's creator - it's a book most Muslims won't want you to read.

I don't know that anyone can tell you what you should do. As a Christian, I believe that my faith is what is true and right. Other religions feel the same way.

I don't know what answers you look at that don't make sense. But I know that the Bible is historically and archaeologically accurate. No other religious text can claim that.

So, in the end you need to decide for yourself what is truth.

So you will trust the very salvation of your soul to a religion that denies Christ, based on answers to mostly dumb questions, given by people that claim to be Christians?

What kind of sense does that make? Jesus Christ, who was God in the flesh, dwelling here with us on the earth, died for you. So you will switch to Islam, that claims that God HAD no Son that died for you? And you base this on the posters here.

Do you even understand what salvation is? It has nothing whatsoever to do with these knuckleheads on this dumb website !! It is a personal thing between you and Christ, girl !

You'd best study your Bible, and stay off of this site, if it sways you that much. Lord help you.

Islam was formed out of Christianity some 600 years after. All religion is for people looking for salvation in life, and happiness in the after life, none of the reality of it all can be proven.

I think the muslum religion should be outlawed. I feel if you want to swap to islam you should move to a REAL islamic country but you wont. You want to say you are a muslum but you want the protection that CHRISTIAN laws give you. Please dont try to change us to islam if thats what you want then MOVE TO AN ISLAMIC country. our doors are open for you to leave anytime you want. Saying the muslum religion is a peaceful religion is like saying that martin luther king was a white guy

I already switched from Christianity to Wiccan and I am a much happier person.

But to each his own -- Religious Freedom Means ALL Religions!

Believe what you need to believe but do not force your beliefs onto others.

Actually, the fact that you say your are a Christian, tells me that you are aware of the One true God and His Son, Jesus Christ. I ask you, are you now saying that because something comes in a pretty package, you are willing to denounce the one true God and His Son?

We are warned, over and over in the scriptures, to NOT be fooled! I am pleading with you to "not be fooled." Please pray for guidance on this as you are speaking about your eternal salvation versus "the tickling of your ears." I am not going to say you are wrong, that is between you and God! However, as a Christian, I am very concerned for your eternal choice, at this time. Please, please pray and seek God for direction. I too, will be praying for you and for you to come to know the truth, you seem to be seeking.

Absolutely not. I wouldn't base any kind of religion as to what goes on in Yahoo!Answers.
