I don't undertand why people try to debate this subject. All holy scriptures were written by humans (and we all know what they're like ;)......seriously). That alone convinces me that religion is bogus. How can you possibly believe that a man was the son of god?!?! The same god that created the universe and everything in it. Doesn't that seem a bit foolish?

Read "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins. He's an atheist, and so am I, and as are most other intelligent logical people today. And read "The Blind Watchmaker" by Dawkins to understand evolution. Creationism is crap. Religion is not foolish - it's criminal. Think of all the bad things that religion has caused - 9/11. the Holocaust, the Crusades, The Israeli Palistinian conflict, if no relgion then no suicide bombers, no Salem witch- hunts, no Christ-kilers, no shiny boufant-haired televangelists scamimg millions from innocent ding-a-lings - aaarrgh !!

Dear Brother
There is no complication about God. God is God and He came down from Heaven into a form of man to walk this earth and taste death for all mankind, He carry all of our sins to the cross for us so mankind could be save. In other words, God The Father, God The Son, God The Holy Spirit live in the human race. You see, my brother you have to seek and know who God is in your life. Truly God will give you the answer because Jesus is the way, the truth and the light. Meaning He is the way, for mankind to making into Heaven. My brother before you do any debating please go before God in prayer and ask Him to show you the way. Allow God to speak to you and through you. Take a walk into you room or closet and one on one talk or pray to God and I a sure you God will answer. Ask God to give you direction, with wisdom, knowledge and understanding to live in this world. I promise you He will answer.

I can't deny that people have done horrible things in the name of their god or gods, even Christians. But the Christians who have done those things were acting contrary to the nature of Christianity. The Salem witch-trials were a horrible occurence, but you cannot blame all Christians for them. The Crusades were an abominable abuse of the name of Christ, but you cannot blame Christ for them! He said to LOVE your enemies, do GOOD to those who hate you. Christianity has never won true converts by the sword. In the end, it is FAITH that matters, and FAITH alone.
As for the Incarnation of Christ, even the Jews and secular historians of the day recognized that Jesus had an interesting conception. Too bad they decided that His father was a Roman soldier! But think about it. Mary was risking her life in two ways to claim that God had fathered her child. Stoning for blasphemy or stoning for adultry/fornication! Yet she stuck to her story! People don't normally die for a lie, yet the disciples were almost all martyred brutally. They would have known for sure if Christ had not risen!
I challenge all to read the Bible with an open mind, and see for yourself. Other athiests have done so, and been CHANGED.

God is a spirit.
The natural man does not receive the things of God because they are foolishness to him. He can not even know them.
You must be born again by the spirit of God to be able to discern what is spiritual.

The person whom they call the son of god was born of a woman and not born of a god ;, but is said to be born of a virgin .How can a person who is son of a fatehr be born of a virgin unfathered ? Once fathered and born of a women how can we call the man who is fathered by x or y as one born of a virgin.?what is then the fathering of god?
