Frontline. If you feel better you can pull any ticks you see off & dip them in alcohol. You should use Fronline during spring summer & fall months.

Add- Flea dips & flea collars are obsolete, some of my clients use flea collars in their vacuumm cleaners. All you need is Advantage (only kills fleas) or Frontline

Frontline Plus works wonders. You need to pick the fleas and especially the ticks off of your cats. The ticks can transfer disease to your cats or to you, so you need to get them off the cats now. I have heard that Dawn dishwashing liquid works well in killing fleas, so you may want to give your cats a bath in that. Frontline Plus is put on the cats skin between their shoulders once a month. It is a bit expensive, but it is well worth it for having a flea and tick free cat and most especially, you and your house.

Frontline treats both fleas and ticks. When you use it, make sure you get it on the animal's skin, not the fur.

Don't use any petstore products - ineffective and dangerous. If fleas are present, you need to treat your house too so get some housespray from the vets too.

Front-line is the best. You will still see them on your cat but whenever the Flea/tick bites your cat they will die. Works very good. For right now I would try and give them a bath but be careful not to get scratched or bit. Good Luck

You can get Frontline at 1800petmeds.com. Right now its on sale for $75.49 for a 6 pack. Its really easy to use and vets highly recommend it. There is also Frontline Top Spot at the same place on sale for $76.99 for a 6 pack. If they only have a few fleas I know Dawn dish soap can take care of them, it doesnt kill eggs or ticks though. I hope this helps you.

pull the ticks off burn or flush them. theres all kinds of meds but flea collars really arent affective except in a very localized area. capstar, advantix, frontline, etc brewers yeast works well also.

ticks you need to pull off of them and burn. then i would give the cats a flea bath(put on a sweat shirt and gloves to try avoiding the scratches) then put a flea a color on them
