You're making the assumption that the stories of his healing are true... They may not be. There is even doubt about the actual personage of Jesus Christ... that he may have been a composed character of several other earlier teachers.
I've always taken the notion that the reports of healing and miracles by Jesus were no more than propaganda and hype.... all just a means of making the character a worthier object of worship and awe and an attractive figure among hoards of commoners, but of course that's all conjecture... who knows anything at all about that period for certain? Nobody. It's fought with mystery more so than history... and great gaps of it, too.
However, to stick strictly to your question as you posed it: If Jesus WAS for real and failed to heal all the victims of illness, then he was no better than God, his father.... a tyrant god and a mean one at that.

Silly girl! If Jesus just healed ALL the sick people, then the ones he did heal wouldn't feel -special-! 8^)
Actually, if you read the gospels in the NT, you can see Jesus' acts were for purposes of convincing people, converting people to his way of thinking. He healed the sick and raised the dead to drive home a message in both them and the witnesses, and it was the message that was important, not the healing.
Also Jesus healed by driving out demons, not by killing cancer cells, bacteria or viruses (like the virus that causes leprosy, or Hansens Disease, as we call it today). From this you may gather either that Jesus didn't know about germs, or else that the people he cured were not 'sick' in the way that lepers and blind people are today, their problem was just demonic posession!
In one of the apocryphal books, The Acts of Peter, it said that when Peter walked through the town, people would bring out their sick relatives because if Peter's shadow fell on them they'd be cured! You have to wonder why Christians were persecuted in these days, why they didn't just set up a series of apostolic hospitals all over the Roman Empire!

He did heal multitudes of blind and leprous people.
/Read the first four gospels in the New Testament.
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
Jesus gave his disciples this ministry and they healed many too.
Peter the apostles shadow healed as he walked by a lame man.
Why not now? There are a lot of people healed now, you just don"t hear about it. Did you ever hear of Kathryn Kuhlman?
She prayed for people and they fell like toothpicks under the power of God, Same thing with Amiee Simple Mcpherson.

First of all Jesus IS NOT God. God is god Jesus is Jesus, his holy son. He only healed the ones that asked for him and touched his clothing. He wasn't going to heal the ones that didn't care or hated him unless they asked.

I think he did it through God. I don't think of Jesus as God.
But good question, I hope it wasn't favoritism
It could be whatever the author wrote in this Bible; maybe He added something to the mix and or changed it a little?

He made a deal with the T.V. evangelists that he would not cut in on their action anymore if they kept the believers hooked.
It's working. The preachers are hauling in tons of cash, and he's still got all those believers sucking up to get their jackpot in the sky.

THEIR FAITH had made them well. They believed Jesus could heal them!
BIG point to all of these stories in the Bible-- to show that we MUST have faith. They did not doubt for a second who Jesus was.
Pretty awesome!
