Does she have cancer? It could be fibrosis from anything! If it's a solid mass and her breast is solid through, she's DAMN advanced. . .
RUN do not walk, do not pass go, do not collect $200 and get her titties to the Oncologist!

By asking this question can we assume that she has not been examined? Because a reputable doctor (oncologist) should be able to tell you what stage she is in. Please see and consult with your doctor as soon as possible. Don't be afraid to ask as many questions as you like. I suggest that you write every question down on paper at the moment that it pops into your head. That way you'll be prepared when you see the doctor

Take hger imm. to the doctor. It might not be necessarily breat cancer, but could be a terrible infection. She must be in pain

please don't think I am mean, I worked with the elderly lots...and it is probably bad news dont do a lot of invasive things to her she is 83 let her live until her time comes without a lot of painful proceedures...really may be very bad news ask her Doctor and prepare how sweet of you to worry over her and love her keep her company and talk to her.
