guys like pretty gals and they always try to win them but at times they find it a big challenge keeping them coz more guys will be approaching them and try to steal them from their guys.
Sometimes pretty gals dont wanna stick to one guy coz of their beauty. they keep changing till they get Mr. Right. so guys who are dating become insecured and tend to stay the hell away from them.
So it depends on both sides.

in high school thats not true...mostly any pretty girl will get a boyfriend if she really tries hard enough.... most of the time the girl wont even have to try if shes really "pretty"
after high school its different. guys realize that they want a girl that they can stick with (maybe possibly marry!) and they want one with looks of course, but she also has to have a good personality...and if you havent already noticed a lot of "beautiful" girls are not always the same on the inside.

They may not have a hard time getting boyfriends, but, they have to wonder more often if it is because of their looks or because of the kind of person they are on the inside. It's a little like being a rich person, and having to wonder who wants to be around you because of your money- and who really cares about you. It can't be easy.

if it is...the ONLY reason I can imagine is...because they are NOT willing to date normal guys...the guy has to be hot, or an athlete or popular or this or that...
she is a bit into herself and she'll reject the "losers" or guys that she thinks he may be hanging on her coattail for popularity sake and NOT because he cares for her.
then all of a sudden, even the better looking guys see how she treats these guys and they'll have nothing to do with her because they thought it was a bit cold and presumed...
that is the ONLY reason I can imagine pretty girls having a hard time getting boyfriends.

It's the pretty AND smart that are having a hard time.
It's a combination men have a hard time to handle.

I'm sure they get a lot of offers. The problem is finding a guy who isn't just after her face, but likes her for her personality as well.

Yep. most men want them as trophy girls thats it. some men cant deal with their attitudes. a real man(one who is faithful) doesnt really want a high maintenance girl. they break hearts and mostly get theirs hurt worst because most dudes might wife them or have relationships with them but ***** ugly or not so pretty girls. and really loves the not so pretty women because they are appreciative with simple stuff.

Yes because half of girls are body concious or self concious about themselfs and their sef-esteem is low and guys dont like that..They like a girl that is confident bout themselfs.

Yes. When I was younger --I was afraid to ask a very good looking girl out.
Lucky for me,that when I first saw my wife, I got over that problem.
