Also if I use my treadmill for 20 minutes everyday for a month also will my legs reduce?

yes indeed. and if ur a girl i dont recommend that many sit ups cuz it made my friends boobs smaller:\

Situps strengthen muscles, they don't burn fat.

A treadmill for 35 to 40 minutes a day will mostly burn fat, and will build a bit of muscle.

If you want to "get in shape" , you need to do two things:

1) Strengthen and tone muscles
2) Burn fat

Weight lifting, situps, swimming, etc will strengthen muscle...and aerobic stuff like running, biking hard, walking REALLY FAST will burn fat. Once some fat burns away, you'll be able to see some muscle definition.

Do both. Increase your treadmill time to 35 or 40 minutes though...and do situps and pushups and maybe squats too.

Give yourself 8 or 9 weeks....and you'll be really pleased with the results!

Situps will not burn fat, they will only put muscle tone under the fat. You can only get rid of the fat by doing something like a treadmill for 45 minutes or more a day.

not if your eating alot of junk food and take away. It will only happen if you burn more cals than you eat
