I think everyone needs to learn to get along. On the other hand I think that people need to get over it, and let stuff roll off their backs. As a LDS/Mormon friend of mine said: "Don't offend and don't be offended".

What would be interesting is to see a graph comparing the number of attacks against Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, and Catholics, with the number of attacks against Baptists, Methodists, and Protestants. You can probably imagine what the graph would show, and your question would be answered. In my experience, it appears that people from all religions are victimized at one time or another, but some are victimized more frequently.

Honestly, I have seen people who claim to be many many things say that. I think allot of the ones who say "Why do you hate us/me"?? don't say what belief group they are in. Some simply use the generalization Christian. On the other end, often I see people say, Why do ALL (insert group) hate (insert group).
At times the reason a person thinks he is a victim is because that is how that person feels. Honestly it is something I have mentioned before to a few various people that allot of times the clearest sign someone is about to lose thier account is when they start complaining that other's on Y!A are treating them bad, or that their questions are getting pulled off.
I think some on here who have asked the "What problems do you have with (insert group)"?? do so to get people thinking about whether or not their problems with said group are valid or not.
Hope this helps.

It isn't just JW's, LDS, and Catholics. Atheists get it a lot too. I think part of it is because the things people say about my religion isn't right, but yet they assume it is because it is something they heard once.
I don't know how many times on here someone has asked a question about something that is very sacred to me, but yet people make fun of it. Most people on here don't make fun of it other Christian sects and take something that is sacred to them and twist it, or make fun of it.
Most of the people who say these things are from one of the other faiths you mentioned, so of course they wouldn't feel picked on. They are some of the ones doing the picking. I'm not saying they all are, or that they are all wrong, so don't take it to mean that. I just mean that it's usually those groups who have a problems with other religions. I don't know why.

Why do Christians think they are the victims on this board? Why does anyone feel they are the victims of this board? Get over sweetheart. This is why so many people don't believe in Christianity. The demonination -vs- denomination bull.

I love sweeping generalizations.
"why do some'.....'always'....
Yeah, baptists have never whined.
My personal favorite regarding Baptists?
When they did a 'preaching work' about 9 years ago, and several thousand swept into a midwest city for a 'preaching work' that was unprecedented!
Something like 16,000 devoted a week to preaching somewhere in Illinois.
Yeah, Unprecedented!
The JW's devote more than a Billion hours preaching EVERY year, and these Baptists out is two weeks! wow!

Because JW, Mormons and Catholsism are very debated religions and they do get bashed on here a lot. Its like you want people to bash on your religion.

because baptists Methodists and the rest of the protestants are the persecuting holier than thou Christians on here. the rest of us are trying to be like Jesus. not belittle others because they are not. we leave the judgments up to the arrogance of the ignorant ones. but it still sucks when I'm constantly put down because my faith is a little deeper and my heart is more open. just the cost of being Mormon that i gladly pay.

You don't have things you consider sacred tossed around like some rotten meat. You don't have Christians calling you a cult. You don't have Christian saying you're not Christian. That you don't believe in Christ. What you believe in is a false and decieving Christ who is leading you to hell. You don't have people butting in on questions about your religion just to say "Stay far far away from them." Even though you never did anything to warrent that kind of superstition. You don't have people constantly saying you believe in these absurd beliefs even after you countlessly said you didn't. People pretending that they know more about your beliefs than you do.
Once you have all these things done unto you, we'll talk again.
PS Obviously you never read those athiest questions either
