hehe see? I AM the woman of your dreams.. rofl
Ok seriously.. here's my take on it:
You feel as if your life is on hold right now for many reasons that I won't go into on a public forum.. hence the daughter/mother moving away and you having no control over it.
Jack and Ernie are your two closest cyberfriends and the rather large estate in Maryland comes from that talk we had about winning the million dollars from fishing in that lake in MD.. that's not a huge issue there.
With me, it's because we talk nearly every day and for the last several days I've been offline. Your subconscious simply projected your feelings of concern and maybe a little irritation or confusion because I hadn't communicated with you as to why I wasn't around.
I don't think it's all that big a deal, honestly.. seems to me you're just processing events through dreams right now, because you're totally under pressure and trying to make everything in your life work out right.
Jack, Ernie and I are honored.. to be dreamt about in a dream like this just shows how important we are to you :)
((((((((((((((((((((Patrick))))))))))))))))))))) .. you're still the best cybercrush ever, and one of my very closest friends.

this, the following answer is not my usual jokes. i know how i am going to die. i have had the dream over and over. it is a gunshot just below my right ear and slightly to the rear. sometimes, i can feel this place tingle. but then again, i am insane.
one time, when i was a kid, i was painting a house. the house had really nice stucco. three stories of stucco. i put the ladder up, climbed up, painting away, and the ladder made the stucco break, and i fell three stories to the pavement below. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't think. Death was certainly imminant. the guy in the house next door, just returned from the real "woodstock" spoke softly out the window.
"are you alright?"
yeah, i was not dead, and so i laughed.
but, i still couldn't move for about two hours. laying there between the forsythia bushes and a stoner. i landed exactly where that "tingle" is today.
life is good.

Patrick, just looking at your pic shows Frankenstein-like greenish image which seems interesting that you'd be into dreams about the head. Maybe you're not connected with your feelings, when you try to convey them, you're as if you were comatose, being distracted. Maybe there was some incident you had or wished you had more impact with Kaitlin, and your head is not coming through for you. Who is Kaitlin? How long have you been dating or other? You probably want to have more with Kaitlin, but feel ineffective. Go ahead and call her, ask if she'd like to work on your relationship and that you hear she is at a loss and purely frustrated with your lack of initiative and communicado. Admit it and do something about it, if you believe you can make her life better by pursuing a relationship with her. Let me know how things go!

Patrick, this is a difficult one; I am a bit astonished by it, though, because I have been dreaming about R&S since I spend so much time on it, and I had dreamed that we all were spending a week together at a place like a large hotel. I am absolutely serious, I dreamed this.
I really didn't think much about it because, like I said, I know I've spent a ton of time on R&S and it doesn't surprize me to dream about whatever has gone on in my life--it's rather commonplace, I think. As far as interpretation, I would imagine that it is perhaps symptomatic of feelings that maybe you worry about losing contact with loved ones--a fear of abandonment, perhaps? I'm no specialist when it comes to dream interpretation, but I know we all fear being left alone. A positive from your dream, though, is that you're not left alone in it.
Your friends are with you, see, and we always will be, whether in dreams or real life. :)

i would think that the shot in the head refers to something you are exposing yourself to that may be harmful for you, maybe a bad personality trait or a bad habit or something along those lines. Whatever you're exposing yourself to is affecting you and will for a while. Your daughter and her mother are giving up on you because of that bad thing you're exposing yourelf to. You look for help from your friends and people close to you. Your friends come to help you and are willing to do what they can. Your friend is angry with you because she knows you sabotaged yourself and this situation is your responsibility, you feel the consequences and the deterioration and are unable to express yourself as you used to be able to.
Or,
you are experiencing a confrontation in your life and feel victimized and you are not seeing the problem clearly or are refusing to see the truth, it obviously has something to do with your daughter and her mother and you're recruiting your friends for help, yet some are being supportive while others are not. That's my interpretation based on the following dream dictionary translations of the images in your dream:
To dream that someone is shooting you with a gun, suggests that you are experiencing some confrontation in your waking life. You may feel victimized in some situation.
To see a head in your dream, signifies wisdom, intellect, understanding and rationality. It may also represent your accomplishments, self-image, and perception of the world.
To dream that someone is trying to rip your head off, suggests that you are not see a situation or problem clearly. Perhaps you are refusing to see the truth. You have to confront the situation or the person despite the pain and discomfort you might feel in doing so.

I have some very weird dreams too. It's kind of a hobby of mine to interpret them, I'll give yours a shot (no pun intended!)
>>The shot to the head could be a sign that your 'head rules your heart' & maybe more balance b/ween head & heart is needed. The 'shot' is to shock you into the awareness of this...
>>The coma, could mean that you have been unaware of a situation in your life that needs addressing, could be related to the 'shot to the head' ~ the fact that daughter & wife relocate could mean that everyone is aware of this situation but you ~ you are asleep to it, in a coma so to speak.
>> Maryland ~ Large estate ~ The female name Mary....You must have a lot of compassion (Feminine side) as there is lots of room here where your buddies can come live with you. but you may be neglecting this as of late ~ Once again, the head & heart thing ~ feminine side is often related to the heart, masculine to the head.
>>Phone calls in dreams are usually messages from your subconscious to your conscious self ~ could be your subconscious trying to tell you something about what the 'shot to the head' means (coz your talking about this to a friend) but you're not receiving the message ~ aka. the slurred speech.
The fact that you are talking to a female ~ your femine side maybe? & she says its been 5 years & nothing & hangs up ~ this could mean that you have been neglecting your inner feminine side ~ meaning the compassionate side of you ~ but you do have it inside of you & its not dead ~ coz of the 'Maryland' estate is so large & lots of room for your buddies to join you...
Anyway ~ hope this helps....Ciao!

It's not my place to say but what i understand,ur mind is making u look at things in a differnt way. it's showing u how much u needf ur family. your friends are good so they come and live wih u but u r not able to fill the void lrft by ur daughter and ur wife. Kallan seems to be the one point where u know u can get peace but she seems to be the most unlikely help that's the reason mostly for the slurry speach.

That's a terrible dream Patrick. I think dreams are often about thoughts we have had or experiences we have really had... or something we have seen or read (e.g. a movie or book) that has in some way impacted on us. In our dreams our mind distorts that memory or thought. I wonder if it does so in order to shelter us slightly from its severity... in any case you are not sufficiently conscious to appreciate that you are actually dreaming and your imagination takes hold in your subconscious state.
You have a vivid imagination and you love your family and your friends and you lament ever losing contact with them. That's what your dream says to me.

My answer is the same as Moon's. I don't know how to answer.
Your question does encourage me to ask a few questions about dream interpretation. I think I'll ask one about dream interpretation itself. And depending on the answers to that one, I might ask a couple about recurring dreams (having the same dreams for years now).
