ok A**hole..i never said i was a breeder.. just curious and wanted an answer..isn't that the purpose of this site...get a life...is this all you have to complain about?

No, contrary to popular opinion, males cannot breed at any time.
You have to wait until they are at least 2 yrs old, have had all of their OFA clearances, and have proven themselves breed worthy by becoming a Champion of record for their breed per the AKC standard, and/or proven themselves breed worthy by earning titles in the performance area that they were originally bred to do...
If you breed them before all of the above is completed, that would make you very irresponsible.....and I know you don't want to go there, right?

You received a very good answer by Zappataz.....even though a male dog can physically breed from age 6 mos....most male dogs shouldn't. And because they can breed all the time, anytime after 6 mos of age, it's best to have him neutered or he will add to the over population of shelter dogs who are being euthanized by the thousands every day.

If a male dog is mature enough ,he can breed anytime and don't have a time period like female dogs do.

they can breed any time...but remember if you breed your pets more and more will end up in the pound or on the streets...1 out of 4 strays are purebred....so read about the consequences of breeding pets that some will be left unwanted..

Male dogs are driven to breed by the female's heat cycle, and can breed any day, any time.
That's why it is so important to have male dog neutered, so they don't create unwanted puppies.

they can breed with any female dog that is in heat
so yes once they are old enough, they can breed at any time
