Seriously it's not a big deal... You shouldn't really worry about how to ask a guy to dance. If your worried about how you would look then don't because alot of chicks ask guys to dance in clubs and such....
Just be aware that some guys can't dance.... So make sure before you ask him or you will get the turn down for sure...

I know for a fact that my brother would get a major confidence boost from a girl asking him to dace. He really needs one. Any guy who doesn't have a date to a dance feels that there aren't any girls who like them. So, yes, ask them to dance! All you have to do is walk up to them and say casually, "Hey. This is a pretty cool song, huh? Want to dace?" or something along those lines.

Well if the guy likes you then yes he is going to like you asking him to dance. If you are shy write it on a little piece of papper. If not say ( would you like to dance with me. )

it depends. some guys are too shy to ask so they would probably want that. and if you dont ask them you probably wont end up going with them. but usualy guys dont really care if a girl asks them or not. if you want to though get into a conversation with him and then bring that subject up. most likely if they are in a top click and you are kind of middle to low, they will say no if you ask.

Well, it depends. I got my BF a few weeks before our dance, but before we started going out I was just like "You know you have to go to this dance with me so that Amanda(an annoying bratty girl who is actually rather fat and thinks she's my friend but is always trying to get my BF to break up with me and go out with her) won't be able to bother me, right?" Then we started goin' out and I was like "Now you really have to go to that dance, you know!" So just ask!

guys hate dances. and the only reason we go is to make a girl we like happy. or to make the girl that we like in only our pinky toes happy cause she may turn out what we want.
