Some people are truly helped by religion, it helps them feel loved.
Some people are in a religion for the human connection of likemindedness.
Some people use religion to bash others over the head with their righteousness.
Some people don't even think about religion.
Some people worship the sun and other 'dieties'.
Some people use religion as a cloak under which to do evil deeds.
Some people use religion as a crutch or an excuse.
Some people are so addicted to religion they call you 'ye'.
Some people know nothing about the tenents of Christ and yet feel 'Christian' just by saying they are.
Some people study religion as a way to understand human behavior and psychological processes.
Some people believe religion is the worst thing ever invented by man.
Some people are gentle and kind and do walk the path of Christ.
Some people are born into religion and never learn or desire to learn any other theories.
Some people believe science and religion mesh to create the true story of human creation.
Some people believe the bible is a bunch of manuscripts gathered together in ancient times to spread a doctrine.
And some people think religion is a bunch of hooey for sheeple.

Unlike gambling, internet and crack, religion is a basic need for all humankind. I mean, look around you. There must be a supreme being to keep the universe orderly. we HAVE to believe in this supreme being. God. Thats why we need religion.
Religions give us a guide for living. It covers every aspect of our life, so that we can live in harmony. Don't call it addictive. Addictive usually refers to something bad.

I wouldnt say its addictive but its like a drug in many ways.
It serves very few purposes and for the most part it actually ruins more lives than it helps

not really, but the girl I love transfer to a muslim school now I have no choice but to convert inorder for me to attend there. Wish me a luck guys. Yes I'll do it for her.

It is after a child is indoctrinated in to it. After so many years of brainwashing it's so hard to see the light.

check any local gathering of AA or NA, and you'll probably find they are about 99% christian. I don't believe that to be a coincidence.
