A number of stores in Brighton Beach carry boxes of foil wrapped chocolates shaped like little bottles and filled with liquor. If you are willing to travel to Brooklyn, take the Q or B train to Brighton Beach and walk under the train to about Brighton 5th Street - check Gold Label International Food and the candy store right next door - both stores sell them. Also check M&I International a block or two up. And, there is a tiny little store on the other side of the street right past the library (this one's on the other side of the street from the others).
I haven't been to this store in a while, but they used to carry these chocolates - I think the store's called Chocolat Michel Cluizel - they're inside ABC Carpets on Broadway and 19th Street.
I forget the brand name, it may be Mozart because there's a picture of him on the box - these chocolates are carried in German stores. I used to go to Elk Chocolates on Third Avenue and 84th Street, but I don't know if they're still there. Other stores in that neighborhood must carry them.
Try Macy's Cellar - they have a very large chocolate collection. And, again, it's been a while, but I'm pretty sure I saw them at Economy Candy on Rivington Street on the Lower East Side.
Good luck.

Cost Plus World Markets are usually the best place to find alcohol filled chocolates. German speciality stores would carry them as well.

well, there is Ethel M's, but they are handmade in Las Vegas and I don't think they can be shipped over state lines- you can only buy it in Nevada. BUT, it's great, liquor-filled chocolate! Google it- I'm sure they have a website and maybe things have changed since I left LV

Most of the time your neighborhood liquor store will have them. Especially around the holidays.

I'm not sure if you have a Sam's Club in New York but I know they sell them there.
You can also buy them from the following website:
