I notice that some idiotic replies have been posted Texas, Spain, don't live close etc. Why don't you morons read the question before engaging your underdeveloped brain?
I do live in Manchester and confirm that Trading Standards are investigating some companies. Write to the Trading Standards office at Middleton giving the details. Not that they will be able to refund your money but if they catch the people responsible, the Court will have yet another reason to deal with them.

i live in oldham (about 3 miles from middleton ). just to let you know there as been a lot of fake companies stopped by tradeing standards in the local area . you might just have to accept the loss. and use a proper company in future.
