Depends upon the recipe... some recipes like mixing meats to lighten up the meat loaf and give it more flavor. For example, some recipes commonly mix ground beef and ground pork since beef tends to be dense and dries out when baked.

It depends on whether or not you put any other meat besides turkey in it when you made it.
