Masterruny, I think his chances are slim. I am just eager to have the pool of candidates grow.

sounds like a good man. that's the kind of guy we need. some one who knows what we middle class and poor Americans go through. in the old days poor people ran for president. now days the rich are running. what has happened to this country is bad.

I'm with you. He makes more sense than the drivel of many candidates. Guiliani, McCain, Clinton etc..all have worked for the benefit of illegal aliens.
He makes a great point about a summit regarding Iraq.
Common sense type of man. A quality the candidates don't share. Sounds like he has integrity which most of the others definitely don't share. Neither do some of the second-tier candidates. To listen to Huckabee, he's against illegal immigration, yet as governor worked hard in their benefit.
Poor excuse of a governor.
I could cast my vote for Grover Cleveland Mullins. It would be a vote cast for the people not the corporations.

I doubt I'll have citizenship by the time of the primaries and I doubt he'd get on the ballot in NC (we have high thresholds) but I'd love the chance to vote for him. In the UK I got tired of the status quo and ended up voting for Wild Billy Hickock of the Official Monster Raving Loony Party in one election. I did so because that party has the ability to prick the balloon of pomposity that floats behind all mainstream politicians eventually.

I wish him well. My question, though, is: will he get any time on the TV debates?

I was considering Duncan Hunter, but because neither of these guys have had enough publicity,it would seem they wont have a fair chance to win, unfortunatley.Im hopeing either Americans wake up or a miracle happens so we can get a decent president that will be for the citizens. And not themselves.

He sounds like a good candidate to vote for.

Dar, why are so many fixated on who will be on the 2008 election ticket? Rather than who we as Americans are allowed to write in with our 'Write In" votes?

I like the idea, except for the fact with out extensive political experience, the carrier politicians would eat him alive.

I liked Colin Powell, but when some one ask me if I would vote for him for Pres, I said o until he got some political experience. WHen President Bush made him Secretary of State, His own colleagues shut him out.

As for the fries, My coworkers knew I don't eat beef, but tried to get me to eat them. They didn't understand why, so I had to explain the whole thing to them.

he may sound like a hillbilly to some...but this country needs to get away from professional politicians...this guy isnt one of them....
We need to get back to the basics here in this country....meaning doing what is right for the citizens of THIS country and not pandering to special interests and being busy lining their own pockets....

I'd love to answer your question but there's a vital part that's missing.

Who are you referring to when you say "him"?
