If you go to Heaven with God, will you be disappointed?

Chi Guy, that's what I'd think, but you never know. they have an "earthly hope" drilled into them by their Legal Organization, the WBTS.. so who knows if they;'ll be ungrateful to God when they're in Heaven.

you folks believe a misinterpretation of our Hope as stated in the Bible. Hope your Organization doesn't cause you to lose out with God.

Paradise = παράδεισος = paradeisos

This word is used three times in the texts.

All three times it refers to heaven.

Here they are with Strong's Concordance reference numbers.

Luke 23:43 And 2532 Jesus 2424 said 2036 unto him 846, Verily 281 I say 3004 unto thee 4671, To day 4594 shalt thou be 2071 with 3326 me 1700 in 1722 paradise 3857.

2Cr 12:4 How that 3754 he was caught up 726 into 1519 paradise 3857, and 2532 heard 191 unspeakable 731 words 4487, which 3739 it is 1832 0 not 3756 lawful 1832 for a man 444 to utter 2980.

Rev 2:7 He that hath 2192 an ear 3775, let him hear 191 what 5101 the Spirit 4151 saith 3004 unto the churches 1577; To him 846 that overcometh 3528 will I give 1325 to eat 5315 of 1537 the tree 3586 of life 2222, which 3739 is 2076 in 1722 the midst 3319 of the paradise 3857 of God 2316.

All three of these refer to God's paradise which is heaven. Read how this paradise is described in Ezekiel Chapter 47
as where New Jerusalem comes to rest within.

there is one faith, one God and one baptism. that's what the bible says. So, i could think of which you will be a area of that one faith. Eph 4:5, thirteen. additionally, the bible does say that we pay for our sins with our death. Ro 6:23. The bible does no longer contradict itself, so people who die formerly God destroys each and every of the fake religions, would be resurrected and given of project to benefit a thank you to worship God interior the surprising way. they are going to be resurrected to the paradise earth after it is restored. Psalm 37:29, Matthew 5:5. everybody interior the graves would be raised up. John 5:28, 29. the folk of the authentic faith would be acknowledged by skill of their love for one yet another. And by skill of their loving strikes. Matt 7:19, 20; Lu 6:40 3, John 15:8. John thirteen:35; 1Co a million:10; a million Jo 4:20. you may exchange your faith no count if it is proved incorrect. John 8:31, 32. despite the fact that if some have good works, they could be rejected by skill of God. Matt: 7:21-23.

Well cut my legs off and call me shorty! I decided to look at the other translations I have instead of my NWT. 1's a Daily Study Bible for Women (new living translation) the other is a Youthwalk Devotional Bible (NIV) and guess what.... they both give the same message of the Paradise earth. What to do, what to do? Even I could understand what the Bible said about Gods purpose for the earth and the 144,000; growing up in the Lutheran church. The church didn't teach it, it is what I came to understand as a kid. That's why I left shortly after I was confirmed. What the church taught and what I understood didn't add up. And that was with a KJV. Never met a JW nor ever heard of them till I was an adult and on my own.
I'm not anointed, so I know that my home will be here on the newly restored earth when the final prophecy is fulfilled, just as Jehovah God promised through His word, the Bible. I am proud and blessed to be one of Jehovah's Witnesses. No disappointment in that.
BTW... I noticed that you used the word "if" when referring to the Paradise Earth. Are you doubting your own beliefs?

Will you be disappointed when the new paradise is established worldwide and Jehovah's original purpose is fulfilled?

We are promised that no resident here on earth will be sick---what a wonderful promise.
We are promised that humans and animals will be at peace with one another. Fear of wild animals will be gone.
We are promised that there will be no more wars and no one will make us afraid.
I will certainly not be disappointed to live here under such conditions where false religion and all human ruled governments are no more and peace prevails worldwide.
I have no desire to rule in heaven as a king, priest or judge over those who remain on earth. That is for only a select few who have been thoroughly tested, endured to the end and who earn the right to do so.
Jesus said the meek will inherit the earth--Do you consider yourself as a meek and humble servant of God?
The Psalmist said the same thing at Psalm 37:9-11--
"For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace."

Doesn't that sound wonderful to you? It appeals to me and millions of others who trust that what Jehovah promises, he will surely do.

We won't be disappointed because the scriptures obviously say there will be a Paradise Earth.

trolltot's account on the word paradise is wrong. The Bible refers to it as a earthly paradise and a heavenly paradise. Its true that the word paradise was used in the New Testament three, but once it referred to a Earthly Paradise, and twice to Heavenly Paradise.

Paradeisos (Paradise) means pleasure ground, which can be in Heaven or on Earth...

Heres some questions some of you "Christians" should ask yourself.

(1) If all people goto Heaven, whats the point of a resurrection?

(2) If your soul is immortal, why does it die?

(3) Why didn't David goto heaven?
Act 2:34
For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

(4) Why did Job expected to be preserved in Sheol?

(5) Why does say John 3:13...
And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, [even] the Son of man which is in heaven.

Does this rule out the fact that Job, Moses ect did not goto heaven, but the ones SELECTED after Pentecost 33 C.E?

True Christians believe in the resurrected, they don't reject it.

Oh I'm sure most ppl won't look up these Scriptures.
Bcuz there is alot of them.
But, if u do take the time.
It shows the grand theme of the entire Bible---
the running thread, throughout all the books of the Bible.
The vindication of Jehovah's holy name & Sovereignty.
His purpose for mankind,
to live on a beautiful, restored Paradise earth.

We all... 'don't know' if we'll actually 'be'
in God's grace or not.
No guarantees, to our knowledge.
Either way, I am living my life accordingly,
to b pleasing to my God.
To the best of my ability.
He will know my heart.
He will judge me, Thank Jehovah it won't b u
in ur finite wisdom, mercy, compassion & LOVE.

p.s.
While the anointed would know., his or her place.
I am not anointed; I know I'm not.
So my hope, lies in being here on earth.

Who could be dissapointed with living in Paradise in Jehovah God's new world. I have no doubts about the Paradise earth. I know it is coming, although most do not. Perhaps the question should be phrased this way: "Will you be disappionted if you are considered a goat by Christ Jesus and destroyed by Jehovah God because you did not serve him?"

Question 2: "Would you be disappointed that you will not be in heaven like your religious leader swore up and down that you were?" Most people do not want anything to do with earth. They just want to run away from earth. That will not be the only thing they will be running from when the Great Tribulation comes. They will be trying to hide, but it will be useless because everything is open and nakedly exposed to Jehovah God.

Something to think about.

P.S. If I continue to endure, I know where my destination is? Do you?

Just as the bible told us there would be at Matthew 7:13,14

13 “Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; 14 whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.

And the Jehovah God promises a earthly paradise over and over again and he cannot lie.

The organization does not promise this. Jehovah God promises this.
To believe in a promise, you would need to be certain that the one making the promise is both willing and able to fulfill it.

Genesis 2:8 states: “Jehovah God planted a garden [“park,” Mo; “paradise,” Dy; pa·ra′dei·son, LXX] in Eden, toward the east, and there he put the man [Adam] whom he had formed.” There was an abundance of varied and fascinating plant and animal life. Jehovah blessed the first human pair and said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth.” (Gen. 1:28) God’s original purpose for all the earth to be a paradise populated by those who appreciatively obey his laws will not go unfulfilled. (Isa. 45:18; 55:10, 11)
