Serial number " registration" information is restriced to law enforcement only. Your police can run the numbers but be forewarned, IF the weapon comes up as stolen you can expect a visit from the authoritys, and your neighbor will most likely end up in trouble. If you've known your neighbor long enough and trust him enough to buy the firearm from him, is there really any reason to worry?

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://tinyurl.im/aH3Vj
Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.
You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

The absolutely free background check sites generally provide the most basic of information, such as name, age and address. To get further information, money will have to be paid. The free searches do not provide much more than what can be found through the phone book or personal knowledge. It's impossible to get a free background check.
Stay away from shady background check sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable background check site like http://backgrounddetectives.info/Inteligator-471.html that has been around since 1999. If I remember right it's $19 for a full report.

Depends on where you live at, Where I live their is no way for even law enforcement to have that information, Unless it's on the hot (stolen) sheet. Because their is no firearms regestration here. And I wouldn't want a system like that because that would require a firearm regestration
Snapper head, Working at a gun store I think I know a little bit and can prove it, Can you. When you buy a gun you fill out a 4473. When the dealer calls it in. The only mention of the gun is what it is, be it a longgun or a handgun. The serial number and model is put on the form, But it is not given to NICS not NCIC. So unless you live in a state which requires firearm regestration. The law enforcement has no idea who owns what. The only guns law enforcement has records of is stolen ones, Unless you state requires regestration. So I suggest you check out ATF.gov and study up some before you try to badmouth someone

hotgunz.com I believe that's how its spelled on the site?. you just type in the serial number and it tells you if its reported stolen or not. I cant verify how accurate it is for sure. Gun stores can run them for you or even a pawn shop. They will probably charge you a small fee but at least you'll know for sure.

For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/axXyi
Call the manufacturer. I have had great luck with getting information I was looking for about Dad's guns after he died and Mom wanted to sell them. Beretta, in particular, was extremely helpful, even sending me print outs about the serial numbers I gave them.

I just tried https://webmd.im/verispy last year to see if I could Locate my birth-father. My bio father left me when I was 7, and has refused to be a part of my life since. I grew up with my bio Mother and Step-father. I have only ever talked to my biological father a couple times until now. All I knew of him personally when I conducted the search was his first name, last name, and the street address of a previous address he used to have.
When the search results came back based on the minimal info I had, It pulled up a recent address along with even a phone number. When I called the phone no., I heard the voice of what sounded like it may be my step-brother. I asked if Joseph(my biological dad) was there, and he said no but to try back after 5.
I haven't done anything with the info, But I found what I was wanting to have.
