DAR???? $10,000 a year per child??? DAMN!!! Where are these kids going???. Last I check Private schooling isn't even that much. As far as the Question. It is illegal and yes they broke the law at some point in there lives, like EVERYONE. The real question is what should the punishment be? Most Americans want to crucify them where as I think crossing a border is less serious than say a DUI. yet even a DUI 1st offense won't even land you in jail over a week. I wish people would spend more time trying to think of a reasonable compromise to the present situation other than just "ship them back to there country" That's what racist people used to say about blacks. That's why everyone is turning this into a racial issue.

If you get caught drinkning under 21 you get in trouble.
If you cheat on your taxes there is a penalty if you are caught.
Same with driving over the speed limit.
Killing in War in order to save lives is not the same as murder.
What do Arabians and Iraq have to do with each other, and what should it matter.

Mexicans don't take our jobs away.
Those who are here illegally lower the standard of living wages, clog the emergency rooms, fill the freeways and raise our taxes while demanding more freedoms and more subsidies, that those that are here legally do not get.

Those who are here illegally, are not punished if they are caught, because we are not allowed to ask. They not only break the law by comming here illegally they also break everyone of the other laws you have mentioned. Yet if they are caught chances are there is some special rule that will allow them more leniency then a citizen of the US.

For instance, in Los Angeles if an illegal is pulled over without a license they want to allow them to keep their car. But if a citizen is pulled over their car is to be impounded.

How about the soldier who went to IRAQ for 2 + years when he gets back home he is not considered a resident of the state according to college boards so he must pay out of state tuition, whereas some one here illegally get to pay resident status.

And just because you don't consider landscaping a dream job doesn't mean there aren't those out there who would do it, if they were paid more than the slave wages we pay illegals.

And guess what is going to happen if we give them amnesty? they are going to want higher pay, so new illegals will be coming across to fill the gap again, suppressing the wages, causing more unemployment and putting and even greater stress on our society.

From what I understand most Mexican illegals wnat the border shut as well. they just want to be legal themselves and then stop every one else from crossing so it doesn't cut their pay.

And if they are on such a high moral ground, why don't you advocate for those illegally crossing Mexico's borders from the south. Those people only which they could be treated the way Americans Treat Mexicans.

Yes the gov't should charge each one of them a price to want to live here, they say they live in poverty there, well then clean it up, spend more time in your country than ours, turn it around thats what we americans had to do, we just didn't have all given to us we blacks and whites all worked to make america what it is, now we got these mexicans comming here thinking we owe them something.

We don't take $10,000 per child per year from the education of children of people who pay for the schools.

Masterruny, we PAY for our kids, through taxes. We subsidize our poor who can't pay. We NEVER said it was ok for those illegally here to take funds from our kids' education. The education and schools belong to our people who created them and fund them.
