i stopped believing in god long before i stopped believing in Santa. i guess that they thought of an all powerful god who murders as habit scares a young girl much more than a fat man bearing gifts. :)

I never believed Santa. I was the kid in kindergarten who upset other kids by telling them Santa was not and could not be real. As far as God, I was raised in a Christian family, but I started questioning the existence of God at about age 10 and was an atheist by age 12.

Hmm
I found out Santa was imaginary when I was in grade 3.
I dont know if I ever truly believed in that God fellow.
Santa always seemed to be much more happier and high-spirited that that downer God. So I had my reasons to believe in Santa.

there's a lot of evidence that God exists; you ignoring evidence isn't comparable to evidence not latest. yet for the checklist, Santa Claus additionally existed, nevertheless he does now not. He grow to be somewhat a Dutch Christian monk in the early 1600's who might pass living house-to-living house on Christmas Eve dropping small bags of gold down the chimneys of the community villagers to help them pay their taxes, which the community nobles have been inflicting in fairly extreme quantities on the village. His call grow to be somewhat Sinter Klaas; the famous pronunciation of Santa Claus is a mispronunciation of his call. After his dying, a legend grew up around the guy's memory, finally magic grow to be infused into the story, and we now have the famous tale of Santa Claus. So incredibly, the two God and Santa are very genuine persons, nevertheless Santa Claus now not exists.

I believed in Santa Claus for much longer than I believed in God. I don't think I ever believed in God, really, but I stuck with Santa until 2nd grade at least.

Santa was a beautiful expression of my parents' live for me. i still have Santa for my 6 year old daughter and I love the whole thing. But god - I abandoned that idea startng around 11, and wouldn;t want that for my child - it's creepy.

My Parents and their Church would not allow us to believe in Santa or the Easter Bunny et cetera. They thought that once we grew up and found out that Santa wasnt real and that they had been lying to us. That we would figure out that they were lying about the Jesus part too.
