Ya know I say take him right away. I had to put down my Min Pin yesterday and he was in ICU for 5 days. He was bitten by a snake. His prognosis was ok Monday then his kidneys started failing and his liver the venom was rotting his mouth from the inside out where he got bit. All the symptoms didn't start til Tuesday evening. We tried to keep giving him the med, but nothing was working. I say don't play around get your baby checked out just like you would a child. He can't tell you whats wrong his way of trying is to act different, so you will recognize. Get him some help just to be safe.

Take him to the vet now. My dog was "off" for 2 days. Not really interested in food. Seemed slower in moving around and would lie down and sit very carefully. Just seemed off. Took her in. They ran tests, found nothing. Then lightly tranquilized her to look in her mouth. Found a big cut under her tongue on the salivary
gland. Infected. There was the cause. I would never have seen this, even if I looked in the mouth. Antibiotics, and she was fine. Better check it out.

Sudden change in behavior, is a warning sign. If it was my dog, I would take him to the vet immediately. Not knowing what's wrong and putting off going to the vet, may make things a lot worse, than what they already are. I always think it's better to be safe than sorry. Good Luck! I hope it's nothing serious and that your baby is better soon!

It would be better to go to the vets . I don't wait more than 2 days before I go to the vets. The weekend is almost here and then if something really happens then it is harder to get a vet.

When in doubt always call the vet! If you are concerned enough to ask it here then I would, beyond any doubt, call the vet right away. Don't worry about feeling like you are bothering them, that's what they signed up to do when they took on the job ;). I wish you the best!

If I were you, I'd give it until tomorrow and if nothing gets better I'd call the vet. We had a problem with our puppy with her food. She just decided she wasn't going to eat it anymore so we had to get her a different kind of food...Dogs can be strange sometimes.
Good luck and best wishes for your dog

Sudden lethargy is a bad sign indicating that something is definitely wrong. Go to the vet ASAP.

I would take him to the vet. It could be something yucky he ate that you didn't see. It could be nothing or it could be the beginning of something you will be glad you caught early. It is good that his bowel and bladder are working. But don't wait. It will ease your mind and its always better to be safe than sorry.
