It seams to go past reaching others with spirit and truth with a hope of guiding them to life everlasting. But, rather it becomes a place for ego support and vindication for you and not for Jehovah. Why not spend this time with real peolpe face to face. Do you count your time while you are in here?

Honestly this question, though usually with a different spin, is asked quite often on here.

Answering on Y!A is something I do for a couple of reasons. One is because to post questions you must have points, to obtain points you need to answer questions, to get questions fast you need best answers, to get best answers you should answer about something you know, since I know my beliefs I feel this is a good subject for me to answer on. I also answer questions about Anime, Pets, Video Games, TV, etc. I originally came to Y!A because I at times have questions about various things, mostly related to videogames (which I in turn am a seller these trying HARD to get a hobby/business going). I have also found Y!A to be a good source of aid with my poor typing/spelling skills.

I do occasionally count an hour or two of my time (when answering about the Bible), if I see my answers were actually read and helpful. Even then I only count an hour or two. I view it as informal Witnessing. Being a Witness is not a 9-5 thing, it should be a 24, 7 thing. So just as I count the time when I informally Witness real world I do when I witness here.

I do appreciate the concern your comment shows. The net is not a place to make friends. Just as there are good and bad people in the real world there are Good and Bad people on line. The difference is it is much easier to hide ones truer nature on the net. Discernment is always needed.

I come for the drinks and stay for the entertainment.

Actually, you can learn a lot about people from here. What they think and why they think that way. Besides, it gets sort of addicting after awhile.

I notice you are on here as well. Do you not spend time with people face to face? I do, I have a family I spend time with and other interests. I am not so pathetic as to not have a life outside YA!

Also, this section is not all about Jehovah. There are other religions/beliefs existant in the world that can be discussed. Spirituality is not just for believers in Christ. You can be Atheist and still be spiritual.

I find it amusing to see the things people say. And I certainly don't come here seeking vindication; as a Pagan I'm very rarely in the majority on anything I say.

uh, no i don't count time for being on here although it is not really your business. i like coming on here for a change of ideas. and to get a rounder look at what people think. i also enjoy the chatter. it seems people where i live are to busy with their own lives to take time to visit or think of others.

If I can help one person then yes it is worth being on here. Many people are searching for the truth, and they don't know where to look. I am willing to help them. This is a ministry here also. God is being honored when we answer with the Bible truth. You are like Peter when he told Jesus you don't have to die. Jesus said Get thee behind me Satan. You need to look for every opportunity to share the Gospel. If we can't help here than what good are we as Christians. Yeah there are mockers just like you, but at least I can share my heart, and what God has laid on it.

THIS is were all my friends are...Sorry I DON'T
see what YOU are claiming.!!
I see "real" people as you put it, all the time..
This is pure relaxation for me...and I have learned alot since coming here 1 1/2 years ago..
I enjoy helping people...whats so wrong with that... if I can help just one person, I am happy more than you would believe..maybe you should get to know the people here, instead of just condemning them...

To relax in the evening after a long day. Quiet, the computer and R&S. I laugh, I cry, I scowl, I chuckle, I feel relaxed at last and seek my bed with a smile on my face.

Because the cartoon avatar faces are better looking than real people faces.

And what's Jehovah got to do with this?

I gravitate towards religious questions here and I'm trying to make it to Level 2.

religion is mythology. why not spend time on here perhaps they will open their minds and evolve out of the primitive human mindset that believes in fictitious characters controling the known and unknown.

Santa is returning soon, are you prepared?!
