Would you put this mentality in the same category as those who worship the One true invisible God?

Very illogical. God says not to worship any graven images. ( Man made)

You are not being logical. How can worshiping God be equated with worshiping a graven/manmade image, a.k.a., idol worship?

It's against the 10 Commandments to worship other gods. God is not visible to us in this earthly life.

i would have to say its illogical to worship ingraven images, statues, or people.
as for the invisible God, our creator, yes, its logical, i worship him :)

Images are sticks and stones (no life).
