Fetch and tug of war are great games!

I would steer clear of playing rough games involving your hands though. You don't want your puppy to learn that it's OK to bite or nip peoples hands.

There are lots of fun simple games to play. Puppies have fun doing almost anything make a game of learning tricks or commands. Be careful how you play you don't want to teach agression. Have fun with your puppy!

I have a 4 month old, boxer puppy, and she loves to play fetch with a frisbee or a ball. I try not to play tug a war with anything, because if she wins the tug of war, she thinks that she's the leader, and I don't think so.
Your puppy has to know your the leader.

Tug a war is fun but make sure you end up with the toy to maintain your alpha position as playing is how they determine the pecking order. Monkey in the middle is fun, but let them get the item sometimes. Training them suprisingly really entertains them and mentally exhausts them. Also, throwing squeaky toys around and just hide and seek. I sometimes throw a blanket over my puppy and leave him under there until he finds a way out or starts whining; it seems like a scary experience but he loves it when he manages to get out on his own.

Young dogs are full of beans and love to be challenged.
They like to pull and bite and you can buy toys to enable your's to do both.
A rope ring with two ends (the other for you to hold) so puppy can exercise the mouth and something that he is happy to chase after, like a tennis ball or knotted rope.
Be gentle till he gets his confidence and then introduce bigger toys.

Totally depending on what type of dog you have. Retrievers & Working Dogs- Labradors & border collies- love to please so retriving games are good. Making them pick up something for you. Obv fetch, tug o' war, obsticals. If your dog has a good sense of smell them hide chicken in your back garden or under empty plant pots or even hide and see if they can find you. Hope this helps.

I have a small dog and I wrestle with her with my hand. She likes fetch, tug-o-war games, and training if it involves cookies. Sometimes I'll get her excited and she'll wear herself out running laps around the house.

we play "find it". One of us will hold the puppy and hide his eyes, then someone else will hide little treats around the room. Then we all yell "find it, puppy, find it", and he runs around sniffing everything to find the treat. When he finds a treat, he eats it and we all cheer for him. If there are more, we yell "find it, puppy, find it", and he goes running off to find another one.
