Hi im 14 and im trying to figure out what to do outta most of the jobs in the world for work experince. I know I wouldn't go out and arrest someone lol, but what WoULd I actually do?

you would probably watch them fill out paperwork and observe things. I am not sure if that would be interesting to you. It depends on if that is the line of work you are thinking of doing. I would want to go visit an ER or something like that. It's more fast paced and there's a lot more cool things to see. Some other cool ideas - sitting with a meteorolist - it would be neat to see how they figure out what kind of weather we are getting. Hanging out with a News Anchor person, a reporter or chef. Whatever you decide just have a good time and learn a lot.

If you and your parents sign a waiver, most police departments will allow you to ride along with a police officer for half a day to see what they do. I had to do that for homework for my Criminal Procedure class in Law School.

You can watch them arrest people from inside of the car.

Animal shelters always take volunteers. Then when you grow up you can be a forest ranger instead of a cop.
