Removing the audio unit start by pulling to the rear the surrounding plastic from the A/C heater controls. Now open and pull back on the top compartment look along the sides of the heater controls for silver metal and six sheet metal screws magnetic screwdriver remove three screws each side that fasten the silver metal to the dash plastic. Now with the radio and bracket loose you can lift out the stock radio and unbolt the pan head machine screws on the sides of the old radio. Brackets are marked L and R. Take that Clarion Junk radio and throw it really hard against the wall Or box it up and keep it like me till I don't remember what car it came out of. and go shopping for a blue tooth MP-3 input ready satellite Sirius Or XM ready unit with pre amplifier out puts to run as many amps you want. Some audio units are I-Pod Or Zune ready with cable for charging and playing. Crutchfield or Best Buy or local auto radio shop.

you can't add an amp to the factory unit, you'll need an aftermarket one that will support the system that you're trying to put in. as for how to take the old one out, you can go to an auto zone and pick up a mait manual for your car and it will give you a step by step with pictures on how to do most things to your car. but in all this keep in mind that it would be probably cheaper based on the amount of time you will spend alone to simply take it to a place that does car audio and have them do the install for free with the new setup you purchase. ie best buy
