well first to get rid of your flea problem, go to the vet and get FRONTLINE - worked for my lil' furbabies! :P
For bathing..I do have to give my fuzzy male cat one sometimes. I found that putting him in the bathtub with me helped...(my clothes stay on thanks!
I use a detachable showerhead, and use that to spray him with - and avoid his head....I also use a tub and shower w/ a sliding glass door instead of the one w/ curtains - this keeps the cat in....usually they'll just try to get out and will perch their front paws up on the ledge of the tub - which is great time to spray and wash underneath em! Let your cat walk around in the tub area and spray em as best you can-yeah you gotta chase em sometimes but it is better than holding em or forcing them to stay in the tub or sink...i've been able to avoid scratches this way.
*unless u get something like frontline, the fleas are going ot just keep coming back...
I second the keep your cat an indoor cat - no fleas and they'll live longer.

DON'T use flea baths! They don't work and they cause all the unnecessary stress you've just described.
Go to your vet for some proper, hassle-flea treatment. Frontline, Revolution and Advantage comes as a spot-on - just a few drops that you put on the skin on the back of your cat's neck (and make sure it does get on the skin, not the fur) and then it spreads through the whole skin. Much more tolerable than a bath, and much more effective!
Don't use anything from a store. Useless, dangerous stuff believe me.

EDIT: Keeping a cat indoors does not keep them safe from fleas. Fleas enter houses just like any bug does.

She is just scared thats all, and Im sure "bath time" is not her idea of fun.
I take my cat to the groomers. B/c they are trained for this. I know the woman eho grooms my animals so I trust her 100% I know they are in good hands.
I would suggest trying to find a local groomer, they can give your cat a flea dip (make sure you ask for it) and this will help you keep fleas away and not have to give her a bath as much.
Do you use frontline?
It also helps ALOT! but dont use hartz products (especially flea stuff) it is harmful to your pets, many have died from it, I researched about it.
Hope I helped some!!
Good Luck!

You're totally kidding yourself. This sounds really cruel. The cat will be too cold if it lives on the porch. Also cats need to be around people, if its winter and you're allergic how much time are you really going to even spend with the cat? If you raised it indoors you can't just put it outside in winter and pretend it can take care of itself outside. That is ridiculous sorry. Either find the cat a nice new home with friends/family or take it to a no-kill shelter. Don't just drop it off at the city pound or animal control though, the vast majority of animals there get put to sleep, find one where they don't euthanize the animals unless they're dangerous/very ill and take it there. Or you could just go to the doctor and get some allergy medication?

Good luck. We used to dip our cats for fleas. Not the best practice we know now, but we did it back in the day. We used to put them in a laundry bag that left their head sticking out and then dip them. Of course, getting a cat into a bag like that is like dancing a tango with a xenomorph (from the movie Alien).

I had to bathe my cat once because she rolled around outside in some oil. Not fun! But, you could wrap her up in a towel to keep her claws from scratching you and let the water soak through the towel to bathe her. Just an idea.

the best way to bathe a cat is use the dry shampoo sprays so you don't have to soak her in water of the cat bath wipes

Intead of dipping them in water, try a wet rag.... she might not mind that as much
