All backsliding comes from allowing the flesh to make decisions for you. When we yield to our flesh and choose to do things that are outside of the will of God, we are backsliding.

1. Sometimes friendships and relationships can cause you to backslide because of certain activities that you are accustomed to doing together that you enjoy but have learned is not godly.

2. Financial situations can make us choose to take part in ungodly things in order to get money.

3. Reacting to a situation that has left you emotionally wounded can sometimes cause you to do things outside of the will of God out of anger or hurt.

All of these, and any other reason to backslide, can be categorized by allowing the flesh to overcome us.

Well Daisy you seem young to me so I would say Peer Pressure could cause it..but remember Christ said if you deny Him before man He will deny you before the Father..Who really cares what someone thinks about your faith? Only those who are weak in their own...besides their day will come when they cry out to the Father for WHATEVER reason. You don't have to act holier than thou .. as a Believer the Holy Spirit lives within you and will convict you of wrong doing that you won't be able to ignore. There is nothing wrong with just saying "no". You needn't worry that you are losing your faith either..just asking this question shows you are in love with the Lord.God bless you Daisymae. Hugs!

I don't need three

The only one you need is realizing there is no "god". God is a human manufactured means of controlling the minds of the common man.

Whenever someone tells you to believe in something, even though there is no proof, that you simply need to have "faith", you should run and not stop.

Talk about the most successful scam in history.
