Santa is not a solely christian thing. He was assimilated from "pagen" traditions that far out date christianity. He's a nice little story to tell kids so they'll behave and not annoy their parents.
God is basically the same thing, only he likes to punish EVERYONE for not believing in him and doing exactly as he says. The bible makes the original Grimm's fairy tales and Mother Goose look tame. Besides, if either one were to be real, I'd much rather worship Santa cause at least he doesn't kill people to make a point.

Yes, but Santa is different. He IS real. I can feel him in my heart every day. He's changed me ever since I've become a Santarian. I had a dream about him once too! That surely makes him REAL. Just look around us, only Santa Claus could have created all of this. Evolution is a lie, a LIE I say!!

nicely, no comparable question would not decide for each relgion. Santa is barely a christian custom. different religions do no longer also have a replace to Santa. yet to answer your question, as little ones boost they get evidence that their mom and dad are those giving the presents. Their perception is taken away whilst evidence comes alongside of Santa's non-existeance. Such evidence approximately god hasn't come alongside yet. we've definitive evidence approximately one, yet no longer the different. it is the reason one hundred% of human beings do no longer believe in Santa whilst given evidence, yet we nevertheless have not got one hundred% believe or disbelieve in a god.

God is a Christian Zeus or Thor. Santa Claus comes from the story of a German Man (Saint Nickolas) in the 4th century, who gave children toys on the 6 December. In Germany, that day was a gift giving day for the kids, I was always pissed of, because I had birthday around then and didn't got twice, like other kids (the man got his Saint, after he died)

God is just as real as Santa Claus.
You are aware that "Santa Claus" comes from a real person who lived in the 4th century, was a devote Christian leader, and was one of the heads of the Nicene Council that officially approved the Bible and many of the fundamental Christian doctrines. His name was Nicholas, and he is accepted as a "saint" by both the Catholic and Orthodox church. In fact, more churches are named for "Saint Nicholas" then any other person. He is the leading saint of the Orthodox church.
His name was "slurred" by the Germans to give us the pronouncation "Santa Claus". And many silly ideas have been attached to him (just as many silly ideas have been attached to God). But he was a real person.
And God is just as real as Saint Nicholas.

I didnt realize that Santa Claus provides personal revelation to individuals of his existance.
If this is true then I must try to be extra good this year so I can get that new camera I wanted for christmas.
Belief in God comes from a personal revelation from God of his existance. You cant prove God to someone anymore then you can disprove that someone has received that personal revelation.

By definition, God is That Which Has No Superior. Santa is dominated by Mrs. Claus, so there's your difference.

God's real...He healed me miraculously two times. He is alive and well and I DO NOT tell my daughter lies about Santa Claus for this very reason. When she gets older I don't want her to think that I might have lied to her about a loving God that created her.
