13 Abortions?

I just answer a question from a girl who has a friend who has had 13 abortions!!!! What do you think about women who use abortion as birth control?

First of all, anyone who gets pregnant 13 times is just plain dumb! It is not only not healthy it is abuive in more ways than we can imagine. Using Abortion as birth control is not a wise way to treat your body. Not only can you end up never being able to conceive at any point in the future. I do not agree with abortion, not only for the moral ramifications, but also b/c even one abortion can change a person so drastically emotionlly. Unless they have no conscience at all, someday all the issues of aborting so may children will catch up to her and can seriously hurt her psychologically. This could mean years of therapy if she even decides she needs help.

The only other thing I care to comment on is, if she is using insurance to pay for these abortions, why is the insurer continuing to pay for them!????? If her life is in danger from any pregnancy, she would be better off having her tubes tied so she can't get pregnant at all. Or you could just sew her up so no one can get in ever again!

Well I am a pro-choice person.. but that, for one is unbelievable.. and two, if it is indeed true, that's just INSANE!

The only reason I am pro-choice is because I believe that women should have the right to decide.. especially when it comes to young moms who honestly think that they can't deal with it (although I believe they should just give them up for adoption!)

Also some women get raped and it's understandable that they don't want to bring a baby in this world under those circumstances.

I personally do not believe in abortion and I think it's wrong.. but I also believe that we are living in a free country and we should have that right! BUT.... (there is always a but with me lol) I think that is true about 13 abortion.. then in that case I believe that the right for an abortion should be taken away from her.. she's taking her body as a joke and that can be harmful for her, and plus it's just an abuse of a law that is there to protect our rights as women in case we can't financially or morally can't have the baby!

Think that if abortion as a form of birth control that after so many (whatever number society deems) that this female should be sterilized. Abortion is a necessity at times I realize but 13 times seems very offensive to me.

First and foremost... abortion is NOT wrong.

I believe that if a woman has practiced safe sex, used a condom, been on the pill, or something like that, and maybe one day, slips up, she has every right to be able to make a decision on whether or not she wants to keep the baby.

However, 13 is excessive and this girl needs to consider maybe taking birth control pills, because later on in life, if and when, she wants a baby, she may no longer have the ability to become pregnant.

Conclusion is, if you get pregnant, it's your choice if you want to keep it or not. But not to the extent that you're willing to do it 13 times. Do it once, it's a tough decision you made. Do it twice, you made an even harder decision. Do it three times, your commiting murder.

That's disgusting. I can't see how anyone could have an abortion. That's a real baby they're killing. They need to get some freaking birth control or stop messing around. Abortion isn't funny. It's killing innocent babies. That lady has killed 13 babies, that's murder. I can't believe abortion is legal in this country. It disgusts me to even think about all the innocent babies being killed because of the mindless idiots messing around and getting pregnant. and you know even if an oops does happen. Take some freaking responsibility and have the kid. It's called adoption. There are hundreds of infertile parents who can't have a baby and would love one. It's a heck of a lot better then killing it.

I don't think this has ever happened. This is one of those things where you know somebody, that know somebody who did it. If this girl had surgical abortions, the walls of her uterus would've become thinner and thinner each time and by #13, she would've needed a hysterectory. If she had medical abortions, she would have spent lots of time bleeding expelling the featus and with this type of abortion, there's no guarantee the featus will be expelled from the body then she would need further treatment traumatizing the uterus more.

Everybody always know somebody that know somebody who did it, but lets hear from somebody who've had 13 abortions.

years ago russian women have had 30 cause there was no birth control so it has been reported. each time she has unprotected sex, she has the ability to get infections and std's and she respects herself not at all! this is just gtross. she can't afford condoms? abortion is not a form of birth control and i am suprised to hear that she can get pregnant because this is a way to scatr and bcome sterile. she needs to get some serious help and some meds and keep her bloddy legs clothes and where are the parents in all this? even idf she is grown. this is just completely stupid!!!!!!!1

It's a very sad abuse of a medical procedure.

I am completely pro-choice, but abortion is surgery. Every time you have an abortion, you tear up your uterus, which makes future healthy pregnancies harder and harder. Eventually, it will make you sterile.

Not only that, but it's expensive, and I wonder how the men who have helped concieve all those pregnancies have felt about it. Has she even asked?

I wish people wouldn't abuse their rights this way. But I still stand behind a woman's right to choose, always. Because once you start banning it in certain circumstances, it all goes downhill from there.

It seems to me that she's very irresponsible and can't keep her legs closed! Besides, its up to a woman if she wants to continue the pregnancy or just get an abortion! She's abusing that privilege, so she needs to be placed on the pill or stop having sex with multiple partners! That's disgusting and degrading because her actions speak louder than words! She's using what's between her legs instead of her brain because it shows how irresponsible and stupid she is!

I think it is wrong if they are taking advantage of it and using it as a birth control. I do agree with the choice of abortion though.
