I asked him if he was going to homecoming through an e9mail at school, and then i saw one of his so called friens come over and read my email. Now my intention was merely to see if he was going and if so with who, and if he wanted to go to dinner afterwards wth a group of people but he said he had a date. I said " Ok thanks anyways, thought it'd be fun", and then affter class the girl tells everyone I love him.. I was just asking, and I was okay with him having a date. I held my cool then, but I'm just wondering why she was like that? And I knoew he's lying bout the date he has, he does like me but made that up and I'm also wondering why..?

He always talks to me and when I look at him he looks away because he was looking too, and then 5 seconds later looks again when i'm not looking. He likes ne but rejected my invite..

there could be a number of reasons why he said no.
he might want to just go out with only you. and not everyone else.
he may have made up the date(if he did) becuase he might be too embarased to dance with someone he likes.
ask him to go out some where else. just you two. if he says no to that, then he probly dosent like you.

No problem. Ask some of his friends and their dates if they want to have dinner with you and your date too. Tell them you asked the first guy but you don't think he can make it. Then if you want, ask the same guy again and make sure you invite him and his date. The other girl that spread the rumors will look dumb and your friend a little embarrassed. It's all in how you handle it.

The girlfriend is jealous.
The friend that saw the e-mail was out of line to read it.
I think you're reading him right, he likes you, but he's afraid to date you. Not quite ready.

theres a very very good chance that this kid likes you. that same thin happend to me that he would look at me but then when i would look at him bam he was looking the other way. in most cases this means that they like them but it doesn't mean he was looking at you he coulda been lookin out the window or at someone else
