My daughter is goin to be 3 in december, she has been potty trained since she was 2, and for the last 6 months she has had only one or two accidents ! Well last night she went in her pee in her underwear and we changed them..then she woke up, and said she had to go pee and she went in the potty about 1am, well 2 am comes and she peed her underwear again, then when we woke up she went pee in her underwear again, then we found pee spots throughout the house and when she goes pee she goes right by the toilet on the floor! She has had about 6 accidents just this morning and she hasnt even had more then a cup of juice? Is this an attention thing, why is she doing this?

I think she needs to goto the doctor. I don't think this is for attention. it may be a bladder infection and she may need some medication. my 7 year old sister had a bladder infection when she was younger and she did the same thing. put her back in pull-ups intil you can take her to the doctor.

well, it could be defiance on her part...but I doubt it. unless you had a major life change in the last few weeks (marriage, death, moving, or birth) I doubt she is doing this for attention. It sounds to me like she is having a problem going, and is embarassed to tell you she didnt make it to the potty. nighttime training is the hardest, especially if she still goes to bed with sippy cups or has had a lot to drink. I would talk to her about what she is feeling and why she didnt use the potty and if there is something you can do to help her get back on track. Try monitoring her for a day or so, and see if she persists with peeing in strange places. It may be nothing, but if it keeps up, I would talk to her pediatrician and have her checked to rule out any infections. lastly, if the doctor does rule out infection as a possible cause, i would not put her back into pull ups if possible. this will just teach your little one that she is not doing good enough and that she needs them. it is frustrating to think she was doing so good, but kids will have accidents, that is why god made washing machines:) just try to cut back on what she drinks about an hour before bed and keep track of her while she sleeps. maybe she has bad dreams. good luck!

It may be for attention. I remember my little sister would pee in all kinds of strange places, closets, just random places after being potty trained. My little brother was about to be born and she really had issues with attention around that time. But, also it could be a medical problem if it has gotten out of control. Maybe give the doctor a call and see if they can help you out. One sign of diabetes is frequent urination. So, you may really want to check into it. Good luck.

It's not for attention. Sometimes, thier bodies grow faster than their little bladders. Call the doc to rule out diabetes, then buy some extra sheets and perhaps some nighttime training pants.

It may be for attention but she may be having a bladder problem or maybe she just drank to much and held it in. Do not scold her just ask her calmly why she did not use the toilet. If it does not stop call a docter.

You should call her pediatrician, she could be having trouble with her bladder muscles. Do not scold her. Just ask her why she didn't go in the potty. It could also be some sort of infection. Just call the doc, she might need to go in.

Clever of you to omit the word "potty" from your question!

I guess you thought you'd get more answers by making it seem as if your daughter were constantly getting into car crashes or falling down the stairs.

I don't like deceit, so, no contribution from me
(too bad! hopefully, you've learned a lesson!).

I would request that the doctor check her for a urinary tract infection. Signs in children are not obvious like in adults. If that is not it then she might just need some gentle reminders.
