Where I live girls are married or shacking up and pregnant at 14. Some of the hookers are 16, and it is legal here. Now ask that question from that perspective.

Your niece is 16, so meaning thereby she is not legally adult as yet.
Only her parents have a right to comment or question this relationship of hers with a boy. If her parents are comfortable, then there is no point in passing any judgements.

it sounds like they are doing everything right. as long as the parents aprove there really isnt much u or any of us can say to change it. the girl and boy are fully aware of the risks of having sex, and they are obviously aware of the rewards. i think the parents are doing everything they can to educate their daughter and its good that they are keeping an eye on the situation. i dont think u have anything to worry about. i think u are a good aunt for worrying though. good luck.

If he is treating her well I see nothing wrong with it, although I would carefully watch for signs of problems. 16 is too young to get serious, she will probably date others later when this breaks up.
