to fork out. Kitties don't work either cos. some people drink expensive drinks or soft drinks (sorry they are probably dearer). Just curious to know how you would handle it. I know damn well how I would handle it I am Scottish and we don't let pigs off.

I would obviously call them out on it. I hate nothing more than a thief, and if he got what he really deserved he would be taken out back and beaten half to death......twice! And by the way I like your style. I wish I was Scottish.

Yes and in Fife (You'll know where i mean) We all had a kitty! All put a fiver in and added fivers as the night went on. That was a lot better!

Absolutley. I hate tight fisted people at the best of times but if they have been accepting drinks from others and then don't reciprocate when it is their turn then that is just wrong.

if they were in genuine financial difficulty or on a lower wage than the others, and it was a panic because the 'standing a hand' wasnt planned then i wouldnt say anything or i would pay for their round or suggest that person buy their own.

if the person was known to be lazy or mean then yes.

Yes, I would tell them. If it was a female I'd take her to the ladies room and tell her alone so I wouldn't embarrass her. If it was a male, I'd ask my best male friend there to do it. Or I'd take him aside and tell him. The truth will set you free!

I am eternally grateful to a friend who quietly pointed the error of my ways out to me when I pulled that one the second time.

too right. get them told. bit light hearted banter should do the trick......." come on tight **** your shout" that sort of thing always does the trick. if not dont play out with the tight fisted **@###@**$ anymore
