So... were cuckoo birds good parents before Eve and the snake had that little chat?

I mean, I'm sure god didn't design them to be ruthless baby killers, right? it's just an unforeseeable (to him) result of sin.

Who knows what evil lurks in the mind of the OT God? The old bugger sure did "create" some strange people, like the ones who believe in all that nonsense.
