For me The Bible and Experience..
Also I am not a bigot and have been around manyy homosexual people, so tell me this, sharing a personal experience- I lived in Palm Springs CA for a time, worked for a man who owned a clothing optional Gay Men's resort, I did the books there PT anyways I can't tell you how immoral the men were and I would tell them as well, they would laugh alot in what I said, because I am not mean spirited anyways this is why I think Men in that community are immoral.
Many (Gay)men told me The Heterosexual chase is always about men chasing women so to speak, and having to be a certain way women are attracted to (Taken out to dinner, buy gifts, talk sweet nothings) so eventually they might get lucky, in Gay Man world totally opposite it's bold in your face, get down to buisness, testosterone to testosterone, and that is why it is an immoral lifestyle in society and the bible, so even if you don't believe the bible do you think this kind of life is moral?

I base my views on morality and principals from experience and the Bible. I don't believe in homosexuality. I don't think it is moral because our bodies were not designed that way. (Yes, I said designed...) It just doesn't fit. All I ever hear about homosexuality is that "you can't help who you love" and crap like that that doesn't explain why there isn't anything wrong with it. "Love" is overrated these days and divorce rates are high and there are so many people having casual sex and its disgusting. Why is there so many "plagues" like AIDS and other STDs? Because of the sexual immorality going on. God's way of letting us know that it can't be tolerated. People think there will be a cure found by these scientists doing so much research on it... yeah right. We can put a man on the moon but we can't get rid of a life threatening disease? It won't happen. No cure. Ever. Just like they will never prove that we weren't created by God, just like they will never prove the theory that we came from apes, just like they will never prove the theory that we were created by a bunch of *non existent* rocks.

My views are based mainly on the Bible and a little on experience. I study the original languages and if I find that a view based on my experiences is wrong based on the original languages, then I change my view.

As for homosexuality, it is condmend in Romans 1, 1 Corinthians 6 and other places. It is a sin based on the original languanges, so I can not and will not change the meaningings just to make homosexuals feel better. In love for them I must tell them that their lifestyle will lead them to hell if they do not change.

The logic of viewing of morality, in a particular person are shaped by the multiple factors..which include the home and parent teaching, the religious teachings and the social environment to a lesser extent.
For me it is my Holy Scripture and my principles. These principles have been refined in my heart and brain by my parents, religious teachers and my experience.

Interesting question. I think that our morality, like so called "common sense", is much more complex than we normally give it credit for. Though it has a foundation, it continues to change and grow.

Certainly NOT the Bible. What two - or more - consenting adults is up to them. What business of mine - or yours - is it to say otherwise?
