Yes, I think that sometimes it is. But I still, for the most part, prefer long hair to short hair.

On Mia Farrow it is perfect. I like the pixie on people with small facial features. Just personal preference. On myself, no.

K, first, I'm old fashioned. I don't think it looks good on ANY women...my husband's hair is longer than that! Second, I HATE that older women are all supposed to wear their hair short and "easy to take care of"...rrrrrrrr

If your anorexic looking woman a short cut can work well, but it's cuter on a little girl in pre school or kindergaren.

I like it, but I have to tell you, I cut my hair that short a couple of times, and people thought I was a lesbian (I am not).
I know it sounds silly, but it is true.

For those that are slim it's a good look, however, bigger gals tend to look matronly with this cut.
