very hard to recite,,,,,,,Does listning to this stotrams has same effect as chanting?

Vishnu Sahasranama stotra is the stotra mentioning 1001 different names of Lord Vishnu and Lalitha Sahasranama stotra is the stotra which chants the 1001 names of Lalitha or Shakti.
Both are beneficial if read daily with devotion and proper pronounciation.Vishnu Sahasranama is shorter than Lalitha Sahasranama.With proper practice and speed,you can chant either of them in half an hour.
However,if you are unable to chant them daily,you can listen to them.It vl help in producing positive energy in and around you.

Chanting by oneself is always better. At the beginning get it understood from proper person for right pronounciations. Then hear CDs carefully, try to pronounce like that from the book in your hand. Repeat is several times. I think within a week, daily twice (morning and evening or in leisure time) you will master the pronounciations and start at your own without much difficulty.

Definitly you will have the effect,the good effect.When a person can change by hearing any ordinary music,imagine to hear the names of the Lord Vishnu.

If you particularly you think for it's effect. Then you have to say it on your own. But if you really think like this coz you are lazy. Then sure even by hearing it has no effect to it. If you hear it from your heart, it will have effect. Full effect is when you say it from your mouth. It's like, if you work hard, you earn good money and name.
