The bible does their thinking.

Just a suggestion but you would be safer if you put your Q/A set to private. You, with satan in your name, are a prime target I am sure.

The "rants", as you call them, sound all the same because you are not really listening. Your mind is closed to what they have to say. If you took the time to really listen and ask questions you might actually find that their relationship with Christ is much more fulfilling than just a casual acquaintance. Unfortunately those that make blanket statements like the one you made are not really willing to take the time to delve more deeply as to why Christians believe so deeply in Jesus and claim him as their Lord and Savior. Do you really want to know more or are you just wanting to create a little controversy? Next time you are face to face with some who says they have a personal relationship with Jesus why don't you ask to sit down with them and find out why they feel the way they do? And then listen with and open mind. The fact that you ask this question makes me believe that if someone could actually verbalize why they feel they way the do you might want to find out even more about what God can do you!

By a "personal relationship" a Christians means that he knows Jesus as a close and intimate friend.

If I were to poll a dozen of your close and intimate friends I would probably come away with a picture of who you are and how you think from each of them that would be pretty similiar. Yet each would have their special relationship with you.

I would expect that if a group of people all had a relationship with Jesus that he would be the same basic person with each of them, and they would all come away with similiars "rants" about him.

I have experienced three life saving miracles that science can not explain. And some lighter miracles too. You need to believe.
