Catholics believe in the concept of original sin, therefore even in the womb you are a sinner. Now, if you are not catholic and do not believe in original sin, then an unborn baby is sinless. Many of the biblical stories--Noah and the Ark notably--describe the wholesale death of millions at the hand of God. One has to assume that in those millions there were women that were pregnant. Therefore either God does not mind killing those that are sinless or God did not consider a fetus a human being either. Which is it sinless but not human or God kills the sinless.

You don't even have to look that far. Half of all pregnancies are naturally aborted in the first weeks. Often before the woman even knows she's pregnant. This doesn't even include the number that end naturally after the first weeks.

If you believe a full fledged human is created at conception more natural abortions have occurred than all of the humans that have ever been born.

While Noah was building the ark, he was also preaching, warning the world about the flood. Nobody alive believed there would be a flood, and so only Noah and his family were saved in that flood. God couldn't be called an abortionist in this situation, because any pregnant women alive then would have been exposed to Noah's preaching. If they died, it was because they chose not to repent. This is unfortunate because their unborn children died, too. See Genesis 6 for more detail.

This is a very complicated subject and it's important to be precise & clear as to our arguments, I believe.
For example: abortion vs. miscarriage.
I it's important to note that a miscarriage is not an abortion. An abortion is an elective procedure typically enacted upon a healthy developing baby. A miscarriage is unintended and often occurs because there is something 'not right' with the developing baby, that results in a 'failure' of the pregnancy.

God never had a problem killing anyone. In the old testament he kills anyone who isn't a part of the Jewish Race, He kills Canaanites, babylonians, egyptians and many others just because the people who wrote this religion were racist and believed they were the chosen people.

Racism and Hate Crimes are worse than abortion too i think.

Good question.

Don't forget about the slaughter of the first born males in Egypt. You know some of those were babies.

Nedra does not get it. Ok, so the mothers did not covert. Why kill their babies? How is the mother's non-conversion the babies fault, especially an unborn babies fault?

I agree with Demetri.. you don't even have to look that far into it. So many pregnancies result in miscarriages on their own.
