Kia, which is owned by Hyundai, has improved its quality at the same rate as Hyundai is now rated better than all US manufacturers, and on a par with Toyota and Honda in quality.
Plus Kia comes with a factory 5 yr, 100K mile warranty. It will probably expire in the next year or so. Also, Kia Sorentos look great (like a Lexus RX300), but they are very gas-thirsty.
On www.kbb.com, an LX with 2WD with 29K miles should retail for $12,750
An EX with 4WD with 29K miles should retail for $14,575.
So depending on model, your price should be somewhere in that range. Your price looks about right.

OMG! I have a kia sorento but it is the deluxe one LX or EX (with the leather and sunroof and all that stuff)or something. But I have over 50K miles.
I like my Kia doesn't get that great up pick-up my the gas mileage is decent for an SUV.
-in addition to the other comments, my next car will not be a kia- I am going to buy a toyota 4runner
my Kia was given to me by my parents..... but if you were to buy a KIA the sorento is the way to go

That's not a great deal. The book value is like 12 on that car. It does have low miles, but whatever. I would suggest not buying a kia unless you have to. Everyone I have set foot into was a garbage. They are poorly made vehicles.
You can get a brand new toyota corrola for that much money right off the lot, and it will last you ten times as long and have nearly none of the issues associated with a budget vehicle like a kia.
Also, anything 4wd is something to fear since there is that much more which can go wrong or break on a 4wd vehicle.

The Sorrento is a very decent rig, no it isn't a
Toyota, but you would NEVER buy an 03 4runner for 13500. People that don't like Kia's have never seen one up close or been in one. They are just talking out of their a__es.

I think all Kias are crap, the gas mileage is worse than toyota and the cars are built like POS<,, my GF has one, what a piece of crap, makes rumbling noises like the spare tire is loose in the trunk even though the trunk is empty,
look into buying a toyota,, just my opinion, but you wont get 100K outta a Kia let alone 200K
