Well if God judges people by the content of their charachter rather than the frequency of their prayer, I would guess a lot of Atheists would get into heaven (and a lot of Christians would not).

Funny question, I see where you are coming from. I think some Christians would be offended that an Atheist made their way into Heaven. However, God forgives us all and many people that were Atheist their entire lives will finally accept God and may have a chance in heaven. Unfortunately, sometimes Christians are the last people to forgive others even though God forgives us all the time.

If you possit a God who brings people into Heaven based on thier deeds and basic goodness rather than thier religion, sure, an Atheist could be brought into Heaven - and the Christians there would greet him with the same love as they do eachother, since they'd be the ones who made it into Heaven.

Um, the training of Jesus Christ contain the shown fact that he's God ("i'm"). for this reason, a "Christian Atheist" (in certainty, there is not any such factor) would not believe what Jesus taught, on account that they do no longer believe in deities. that's no longer approximately merely believing that Christ existed. And on an identical time as we do attempt to "persist with His teachings", as a count of certainty, everybody is a sinner. so a strategies as narrow minded heads bypass, attempt reading the Bible and gaining knowledge of what it replaced into that Jesus actual taught.

Reminds me of a joke I heard about a church - lets just call it the "Only Us" church - that believes that only THEIR members will get into heaven. It goes like this:
A fellow dies; he's been a good man, and he goes to heaven. One of the angels meets him at the door, and gives him an introductory tour of the place. "Over here, we've got the Methodists; over there, you've got Jews; up the path a little bit, you've got some Muslims, and Quakers; there are lots of nice folks here." They kept walking, and the angel puts his fingers to his lips, and tells the fellow, "Shhh - we have to be quiet here." The fellow is confused, and asks what's going on. The angel replies, "Oh, that's the 'Only Us' church, and they think nobody else is here!" ;-)

This is funny too. I thought a gay Jesus was funny.
How can an Atheist find their way to Heaven or anywhere for that matter?
I think the Atheist will be the surprised one!
Christians will just say, "I told you so."

I myself think that if there is a heaven, it'll be made up of GOOD people from all religions and backgrounds, if you lived life as a good person, you should get in. Damning everyone who isn't a believer makes no sense whatsoever.

The atheists will all be hanging around the stripper factories and beer volcanos, so the Christians can just avoid those parts of town.

I don't believe atheists exist. There are only agnostics, since NO one can KNOW there is no God.
And yes, before you ask the obvious question, logistically, everyone is an agnostic, since no one can KNOW there is a God either.

A man goes to heaven and is being shown around by God.
The man sees a bunch of people sitting around a table, eating and yelling at each other. "Who are they, Lord" he asks.
"Those are the Jews" God answers. "They love nothing more than to eat and argue".
They keep walking. Soon they come to big park with people drinking, eating and playing games. "Who are THOSE people, Lord?" the man asks.
"Those are the Unitarians." Says God. "To them it's all one big party".
Eventually they come to a huge building, no doors, no windows. "Wow" says the man. "Who's in THAT building?"
"Oh" says God. "That's the Christians. They think they're the only one's here."
