I have a reoccuring dream that I'm driving and I take a wrong turn, which leads me to a bridge with no guide rails. I try to cross it, but inevitably fall in the water. I almost always experience the sensation of death in this dream, which is just when I wake up. What could this mean, you know, symbolically?

Crossing a bridge represent crossover from one change to another in your life. But your dream suggests that you made a wrong decision in life that took to a place where you would be crossing over for your own harm. No guide rails represents your choice be unguarded or without back-up or protection. Falling into the water represents being engulfed by life's issues, worry, stress, fear, and on and on.

Not sure if you had this dream after or before the bridge collasping in US. However

Bridge = Support
take a wrong turn = wrong decision making
feeling sensation of death = failure, disappointed.

It could mean some support in reality you have that you are feeling that they may be leaving you. Either you are making a wrong decision about them or somehow they don't come in the way you want. Projecting falling from a bridge shows sign of losing support and falling in the water shows symbol of losing hope. Perhaps in reality you are disappointed for some support you had or even some decision you made. That is why you projected this dream to vent out your feeling.

>>The driver of a car in dream symbol is how we are controlling where our life is going...
>>Somewhere you've taken a wrong turn (maybe made a decision that went wrong) & you end up with no guidance to put you back on the right track ~ (bridge with no guide rails)
>>Water in dreams usually represents our subconscious ~ deep emotions ~ maybe the wrong decision you made has increased turbulent emotions..or was made purely on instict without the hindsight of rationality ~
>>The fact that you experience the sensation of death is a warning to you (no, not of real death ~ dont be alarmed) but is telling you to rectify your decision or suffer the consequences of them ~ you may end up in deep water if you dont rectify whatever the dream is telling you to fix. Maybe you need to seek the guidance of an older relative to get you back on track..

Hope this helps... Bridges represent a transitional period in your life where you will be moving on to a new stage. Alternatively, the bridge may indicate that you are trying to "bridge" or connect two things together. To see a bridge collapse in your dream, denotes that you have let a great opportunity pass you by. To dream that you are jumping, indicates that you need to take a risk. To dream that you are in a car crash, indicates that your beliefs, lifestyle, or goals are clashing with another's.

Do you have trouble making decisions? Are you afraid of making decisions? It sounds as though you're afraid to decide - because you feel it may be the wrong choice.

There are few choices we make that we can't change - few do-overs, but people regret far more what they DIDN'T do, rather than what they did do. You don't want to wake up some day and find that life has passed you by.

Good luck!

Are you questioning yourself about some decision you recently made, and if it was the right choice? Sometimes this occurs when you second guess yourself on something, and your dreams reflect your feelings towards the decision.

Basically whatever you recently did, you subconsiously do not believe it was the right path for you.
