There seems to be some debate among the Neocons over whether this war should be painted as a " christians Vs. the anti-christ " fight. Bush has worked very hard to convince people who have knowledge of the Bible that this war is a battle between christians and the anti-christ and to convince everyone (regardless of religion ) that this is a war between good and evil and the other guy is the evil one.
He inserted referrences to scripture concerning the return of Jesus and the destruction of evil in his speeches. He also made referrences to the crusades which were European christians version of zionism. Because so many people who know the scriptures were outraged, the whitehouse posts the original text of those speeches on its website instead of posting the speeches he actually made.
9/11 and videotapes of bin Laden and videotapes of christians being beheaded only help Bush, since according to scripture, those who refuse to bow down to the anti-christ will be beheaded.
Muslims leaders have claimed that the U.S. is the " Great Satan " for some time. Bush's actions only help them convince others that they have been right all along. What's taking place in the middle east right now looks like a zionist crusade to me even if the ulterior motive is oil and greed.

It is human to err and make mistakes. Religion itself doesn't make conflicts, people do. Why? Well, there are lots of reasons. For example, while religion teaches peace and to be a good person, it's not always easy to do. Especially when you and everyone around you insists that the killing is justified. Or when you yourself believe that what mistakes/atrocities you commit are either justified, unavoidable or right. Your question could have been rephrased "If society values honesty and goodness why do we kill each other?" Why indeed. It's part of life, we do horrible things as a whole race, not only in religious conflicts but also with racism for example (which was why the Holocaust happened.) The only comfort in this truth is that some of us attempt to improve.

You actually asked three questions.
Christians are killing Mulsims in the Middle East.
The bible has elements in it which support war under some circumstances. Some say it is a religion of peace, some say Christianity affirms an individuals duty to serve their country in times of war.
Thought about it yes. Do I know the answer to obtaining peace in the Middle east - no. I don't think anybody knows that.

Christianity seems to be filled with hatred, prejudice, intolerance, & self righteousness. I consider myself a Christian, but I believe in humility, love, and acceptance. I believe in helping other in need. I also look in the mirror every morning and am aware of my own sins & imperfections.
I have some super religious family members, and so called Christians, that are in church every time the doors are open & spout some really pretty things from their mouths yet their actions tell a different story. If they passed someone lying, bleeding a ditch some where they would look at them & walk right by. They've deemed themselves a moral authority when it comes to anybody & everybody's lives putting their stamp of disapproval on anything and everything.

As I recall the only reason the Muslim religion is so pervacive is because they went out and converted people on the threat of death, in the first place. How many Christians have Muslims killed over the centuries? Not that either is right but how can someone complain if their religion is guilty too?

Rove go around to the far East and to Africa and see radical Islam attacking Christians everywhere. Christians in the Middle East are trying to protect themselves or leaving, look at Lebanon for one example of the radical nature of Islam and what it has done to Christians.

"Along with other human rights organizations, The Documental Centre for Human Rights in Iraq has compiled documentation on over 600,000 civilian executions in Iraq. Human Rights Watch reports that in one operation alone, the Anfal, Saddam killed 100,000 Kurdish Iraqis. Another 500,000 are estimated to have died in Saddam's needless war with Iran. Coldly taken as a daily average for the 24 years of Saddam's reign, these numbers give us a horrifying picture of between 70 and 125 civilian deaths per day for every one of Saddam's 8,000-odd days in power"
http://wais.stanford.edu/Iraq/iraq_deathsundersaddamhussein42503.html
In this particular war, since 2003, the hidden and unknown number of dead is estimated to be over 600,000 Iraqis (Muslims, Arabs), thereby putting coalition forces, Iraqi army, and private army killing toll to an astounding and utterly sickening 410 persons per day!
You can blame it as much on PNAC as anything else. As for blame on Christians, here we go again, round and round, this is a Christian/Jewish plan. Don't call me anti-semnitic! You don't even know what that means.

This is a trick question, right? Or are you going to go back a thousand years to those nasty ol' Crusades? Islam is a religion of violence--they preach it in their bible (Koran) and thousands of their religious leaders preach violence--I can not not think of any other religion Christian/Judea religion that does.
If you're simply asking if Christians commit violent acts, then the answer is, of course they do, but the specific answer to your question is yes, Christers are killing Muslims. They are soldiers, sailors, Marines, and airmen of the US and other countries military and the vast majority of them are Christian.

I don't remember ever reading in the bible that we are a religion of Peace, But only that we should love our fellow man. Besides, More Muslims are killing each other then we are killing them, and you can't define it as a holy war because, there are also Jewish people, Protestants, Catholics, And even more that I don't feel like writing.

They all say so, no one cares, no one respects it. Isn't it sad? When they'll all recognize they are brothers and sisters under one God(the Father of humanity) of Love and Peace, they will probably regret what they are doing and they will stop what they are planning. Let's just try you and I to do our part of responsability in front of humanity.
