I love deer hunting. I love going out in the wilderness with my shotty and getting down and dirty and participating in the challenging sport of deer hunting. Is anyone waiting for it come around like me I am 1 month away?? And I dont want to hear any sad bambi stories. If we didnt hunt deer they would have overun us by now and we would have to fence off the roads to stop deer/vehicle accidents. population control is necessary.

Yeah I couldnt get off for Bow season this year so I am going to have to go shotgun in MN and rifle in Wisc. Should be fun. Good luck all hunters be safe.

yup. archery opens tomorrow in PA.
I moved one of my treestands near a trail that I saw a buck use over Labor Day weekend. I went to put some finishing touches on it Tuesday and there is LOTS of new sign in and around the area of the new location.
i haven't arrowed a deer in 10 years! I missed a doe last year on opening day when my arrow glanced off a tree branch. The year before I had a huge case of buck fever when two 8 pointers came in from behind me. i was shaking so bad that i couldn;t even blow the grunt tube. I muffed the shot way over the bigger buck’s back. I called the smaller of the two in to with 10 yards of my stand but he wouldn’t take 2 more steps from behind a bush to give me a clean shot.

Yes! I love the hunting and the eating. A roast made from the leg with fresh native and organic vegies is the best.
I live in Maine on the coast and deer are considered a nuisance by many as they get into gardens and wreck havoc. Its like a buffet for them.
I have two any deer permits(doe and spikies) this year. I don't think I'll have any problem filling them if I find the time to hunt.
Good hunting and safe hunting.

"Imagine you're a deer. You're prancing along. You get thirsty. You spot a little brook. You put your little deer lips down to the cool, clear water - BAM. A f*%kin' bullet rips off part of your head. Your brains are lying on the ground in little bloody pieces. Now I ask ya, would you give a f@#k what kind of pants the son-of-a-b*@#h who shot you was wearing?"
Just kidding. Have fun out there
