the number of times my two boys have done this when the bath is full and then fallen in and scared themselves silly, but all three of my cats (i have a queen as well) love water and will try anything to have a bath themsevels. they like to fallow us into the shower so i now keep the cat shampoo handy and bath them then shower my self. no one believs me tho. my cats are norwegian forest cat crosses

Good question, but I really don't know. My cat walks around the kitchen sink as she has decided she likes to have her water from the sink, rather than from the water bowl she always shared with my three dogs! She now waits for me to put a bit of water in the sink and she's happy! Strange things aren't they?

Cats like a challenge! My cat fell into a (full) bath once, it was hysterical. She tried to do that 'I meant to do that' thing that cats do, but all the screaming she'd done rather spoiled it! This was years ago, but the children still reminise (sp?)...

They like fresh water. They don't like getting wet but like to drink it. One of my cats loves to drink from the sink. She even lays in it now cause its nice and cool.

The thrill, the danger. They usually stop when they slip and slide into the water.

All ours have fallen in the toilet, and off the cat tree. They're not as graceful as they'd like you to think.

At least if they are on the edge they are not in the bath or sink.

I don't know if getting wet is an answer, as mine loves to go in the shower as soon as I get out, and just sits there in the wet.

Just to prove they can! They like feeling like clever tightrope walkers, narrowly skirting "death" (or getting wet). :)
