ARGUMENT FROM DREAMING
1. There is no way to tell whether or not I am dreaming.
2. If there is no way to tell whether or not I am dreaming, then all of my experiences could be dream experiences.
3. If all of my experiences could be dream experiences, then I must suspend my beliefs based on those experiences.
Therefore, I must suspend my beliefs based on those experiences.

If you cannot tell whether or not you are dreaming, then Yahoo Answers is not the place to get help.

Why do you need to suspend your beliefs? Everything that you experience, whether it is in real life, dreams, or just while you are thinking make up your life. Your beliefs should not be affected by your dreams and whether or not they actually occurred.

In reality, how do you know that anything that happens out of your sight actually occurs? Because you see it on tv? or maybe because someone else told you? Why would any of those things affect your beliefs?

How would you know which experiences are dreams or which are not? Did you just watch 'The Matrix' movies?
